I'm starting to like the variety of the Woots, I think the buyers have been holding back. Just wish the price was a little lower.

I've noticed that woot has turned off their twitter feed, and forum link on the product page, and several others. It seems to be helping performance.

My seatbelt has a little red button that makes it release - much easier than fumbling for this thing and replacing the belt every time I go out...

Besides, I'm not allowed to carry sharp objects or cash - I can hurt myself with either one of them.

But for all of you campers and manly-types, please buy 3 right away!

LOL Poor, YCWT, do they at least take you to the county fair? If so, don't forget your backpack and your guitar!

Is this to compensate for the Ammo shortage in the US? Does it come with training. Everytime I get something like this it ends up at Airport security, do they sell their stash once in a while.

They literally test their steel by emptying a clip of .45 ACP rounds into the blade.

Awesome.
I love mine.

That's nice. I'm guessing if you pull out this knife, and someone pulls out a .45, sure you're going to deflect a few bullets, but I'm gonna bet on the guy with a gun.

Me, personally, I could care less if my knife can block bullets. I want it to cut, and I want it to hold an edge.

They're made in WA though, which is cool.

nvaine wrote:Groove in the handle would also be good to cut seat belts after an accident.

Actually, it's in the wrong configuration to help you cut a seatbelt. It might do it, but I doubt it would do a good job.

For camping, however, this is a pretty great choice for a knife. The slot is in the right place to cut common things like monofilament line, and smaller cords. The stainless steel knife and high impact plastic handle is also just right for the purpose.

As a primary knife in a tacklebox, and for general lightweight camping, it's a great choice.
