I never use a rebate visa card before so could anyone here give me some idea about how this rebate card work?
Can I just use the card for shopping like my other credit or debit card in supermarket or online ?
how about the mailing-back part mentioned in some posts here?
And I am able to use them only 30 days after the date of sale??
i hope this rebate is gonna be good and convenient.
I've gotten rebates such as this one before. In most cases, yes you can use this just as you would a debit card. Some cards have limitations as to where and what you can use the card for. As for mailing back part, I believe all you have to do is send in a receipt which you should receive via e-mail, along with the barcode from the box. Make sure you do this in a timely manner as most will have a limited timeframe (say 30 days) before the offer expires. This is why so many companies are using cards like this now-a-days: You pay for the item up front and they take the chance as to whether or not you will actually remember to mail in the items. (If you don't mail it in within the time frame, they just saved money in this case $20 per item). It's also good to note that some cards will expire if not used within a specified time (the one's I've received have had a year or so expiration date. Others will charge a small fee if you don't use the card for an extended period (if you make a purchase with the card, but then don't use it for several weeks or months) Every card is different, it's all about the fine print which should come with your rebate cards
