Wow, I'm impressed... Woot was able to let slip nearly 23,000 of these little suckers. Just imagining the warehouse space that this just lifted is almost mind-boggling.

Woot's staff sure will be busy shipping all these out! For their sake, I hope the next few woots are low in sales quantity.

It seems more and more rebate processing companies are beginning to issue a visa gift card instead of a check.

This really leaps into the vacuum since I do most shopping on-line, and for most on-line stores it is not possible to split the payment into multiple cards.

Argh! I ordered one shortly after midnight. I decided I wanted two shortly after lunch.

Emailed woot, asking them to cancel so that I could re-order. They did so before 5 but I couldn't get online before the sell-out.

It was a $700 set of knives...

Meanwhile, 23k headsets couldn't have taken more than 4600 cubic feet, or 2-3 single bedroom apartments. On the other hand, they are probably being shipped from Samsung, so Woot's staff won't be particularly busy shipping them out.

Mine got to Dallas Fed-X yesterday and is in Houston today. Depending on USPS handles it I should see it between Monday-Wed. My previous two orders were both delivered before the schedule day (this one is for Wed).

Hmm, I have a Samsung cell phone, and its bluetooth capabilities are severely crippled. You can only use a handsfree or headset device with it... No connection to a PC or to another phone, for example. To connect to a PC, you have to buy a special USB cable.
Yet, they advertise that as bluetooth phone. Somewhere in the fine print they mention handsfree and headset, but it is not made clear that nothing else works. I got it already ... I purchased on Mon and it arrived on Friday ... I'm shocked. Works great, but the ear loop is pretty flimsy. Filling out rebate now.

Mine arrived today. The volume switch broke off within 5 minutes. Very fragile plastic part. Probably not worth RMA, since the shipping will be more than it's worth. I put a rubberband over it to hold it on. Also, it doesn't seem to pair with an ipod Touch. I was hoping to use it for Skype.

I called Samsung support and they told me there wasn't any warranty if it wasn't bought from their online store and to go back to the seller. I told her there was a 1 year warranty with Samsung and she said there was nothing she could do, as it was within the 30 day return period. So I asked her if I should call her back in 30 days....she wasn't too happy about that.

What is wrong with this world, that they can't send out a $.05 part? Instead, I would have to incur the shipping back to Woot?

Oh well, can't win them all.

Yeah, only 1 rebate per envelope ... in each envelope you need the original rebate form, the original UPC from the box, and the receipt with the item circled. So when you print the receipt, print 3 ... and then draw 3 circles.

This is on the left side of the page and there is a box to write in etc. I think the woot staff does check this forum so you might wait a day or so before trying that. It goes to service@woot.com and from what I read this is the kind of problem that qualifies.

Did some research on why there's such a great rebate on these.... Samsung has discontinued this headset, so they were probably trying to empty their warehouses of these, and worked it out with Woot to get them out of their hands. And it did say in the product description that Woot and Samsung were working together directly to provide the $20 rebate.

I'm kind of confused about all the rebate instructions.
Is the little slip of red paper the MIR form?
and where do I submit the original part number/upc label? do i just take the sticker off the box and send that to them too?

Got the headsets... the fit great. Just curious. It says limit 3 per household, does that mean I can submit 3 rebate forms... all from me? or do I need to do one from me, my mom, and brother?

Basically, is it three per household, and one per person? or is the address the only thing that matter? Any thoughts?

Note that the rebate form says in bold: "PLEASE PRINT CLEARLY IN CAPITAL LETTERS". Technically if you don't print in upper case you are not complying with the rebate terms...

3 per household. If you are a household of one, you don't have to share the other two with anyone else, they're all yours. Or, so I'm hoping. In ALL CAPS, of course.

I ordered two of the WEP470 headsets and only one came with a mail in rebate form. Since Samsung only accepts an original MIR, how do i get an original MIR? or should I return it?

I JUST opened mine and found the earpiece covered in earwax and schmutz. Obviously someone tried this one out and returned it without wiping their filthy ear-scrapings off the thing. I am so glad I looked at it before jamming it into my ear.

There was no receipt in the box from woot. All I have is an order confirmation in my email that looks like the below, is this considered a proper receipt?
