For this and the price of batteries, could you get quite a few decks of cards?

Is that the brand?

Interesting. I have the "wired" version where all the handsets have to be plugged into the main unit. The main unit plugs into your TV. This is actually not bad. If you have a bunch of friends it's cool but the AI (at least on my apparent older version) kind of leaps into the vacuum.

Sorry -- but these sucked posterior crevices.
We hated them.
Would not even accept them in a baby of the cosmos.

But ... if you have a secret Santa enemy ... ;)

W00T. Poker is not gambling. If poker was gambling you would not see the same people win over and over. Poker is a skill where you need to take calculated risks.

Gambling is a game of chance.

Poker is not a game of chance.

You know what else makes for a good game of poker? A deck of cards. $3 at Walgreens.

Bought this for my wifes dad, he will like it .. he loves Texas hold'em .. but it's hard for him to play with regular cards now. He had a stroke about a 2 years ago, and is paralyzed on his left side and now in a wheel chair. Good Christmas gift!

Bought the wired version a while back. Works well, but it is not for a night of poker and drinking... Have a few drinks then just TRY to step over the other 3 guys' controller wires. Talk about mucking a hand.

"Requires (4) AA batteries for console, requires (3) AAA batteries for controller (not included)." This probably means you don't actually get 22 batteries.

Actually it's not that bad, only 18 AAA's.

But you need 4 AA's too. hehehe!

thats true but it wont buy 4 friends and a card table. not to mention portable. but it is still just something to blow money on.or give to someone who don't need anything.
