That's an awesome haul! Since Christmas is coming, maybe you can drop some of those games off to Toys for Tots. That would go along ways in the karma department.

Hey, I think one of those sets of Woot lights was suppose to be in my Boggy Old Creature. Any chance I can have it back? Seriously though, I bet you could get rid of most of the lights if you wanted to, but shipping would be a PIA. If you are driving past Chicago on I80 on the way to WA or want to deal with PIA shipping, let me know. Thanks

It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

Holy mother of truckloads. Congrats on that haul.

Can we get a video of all the lights plugged in and turned on at once?

Can I buy a set of working lights from you?

Alright, I don't know how effective this one post will be, but I'll try! I have had 20+ people already ask for and/or make offers on woot lights. I have begun putting some up on eBay. Prepare yourself for more of an explanation than this warrants:

On eBay, the lights are selling for between $7 and $21. I am selling them individually for $12.50 buy it now, or with a bidding price of $5 to start. In addition, you can purchase a lot of 5 lights at a discounted price: $50 buy it now. Anything larger will receive a large discount, up to 50 lights for $250. That's savings of more than half compared to buying individually.

I got these lights for free, along with a whole Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966)-ton of other things, and I feel bad for everyone who didn't get a Boggy Old Creature. For this reason, I -will- be making deals with those of you that just can't afford to, or are too stingy to, pay 12.50 for a set of woot lights. I'll even be giving some sets away for free. But the people looking for cheap/free will just have to wait a couple weeks. As I've mentioned, my girlfriend and I are moving across the country, and we need to fund that. As we get closer to the amount we need, I will be giving more stuff away, and at cheaper(or free-er) prices.

tl;dr - If you want it cheap or free, you have to wait a lot longer.

I'm in the process of making a GoogleDoc with everything I received on the pallet. I've already started inputting everything and taking pictures. Expect the full haul to be completed and revealed to you later today!

Thank you, again, to everyone who was supportive and excited and nice and kind and everything else! I hope you got a Boggy Old Creature this time around, and if not, good luck next time!

Wow... I had just seen the lot of 50 Woot! lights on eBay and told my co-worker (who waited eagerly with me to see just what you got) it couldn't possibly be you. I figured you were still going through the box of "random stuff." I am impressed that you are moving so fast on this! Congrats on the haul. I missed out on the Blush of Charisma this time around, but have thoroughly enjoyed your journey. Thanks.

I just received my second Boggy Old Creature package. The first one only had one item in it (Spykee Robot).

This one contained:

(1) Purple woot wine carrying bag

(1) Respiffed 60 minute Flip video camera

(1) Motorola S9 Bluetooth stereo headphone

(1) Energizer rechargeable extended run battery for am iPod

(9) Bags of Texas air

Not bad for my first bag win. Thank you woot.

p.s. I totally expected the wine carrying bag given my last name. Ironically, I don't drink.

We're all wooters. We all know that prices jump ALL OVER the place when you are shopping online. To figure these values I tried to look at the price from the manufacturer first, then check major retailers if manufacturer wasn't available, then check smaller and online businesses. As for the ebay value, I looked only at Completed Listings where possible, and averaged and guessed when necessary. Obviously it's just a rough estimate, done from boredom. Still organizing all the pictures and videos. Doing it more for myself now than for anything else, but I'll still post them on here when they are done!

Everything shipped to you is yours and I for one hope you make some very good money selling whatever you want. With your move coming it should help offset some of your unusual expenses. Have enjoyed the details of your haul and got a bang out of your estimate of it's worth. Good advertising for Woot as well, I can hear myself and others telling people "you should check out this site, they have this WootOff and one guy got etc, etc"
Enjoy every minute of it.

Ditto. Don't let some people guilt you into giving away your stuff. That's just sour grapes. You were the lucky son of a gun who got the loot; it's yours to do with as you'd like. It sure was fun to watch and wait with you.

I thought about it, I really did. The only problem is I'd have to surprise people with quantity, not quality. I'd love to pull a Woot! and send someone a lawnmower or a toilet or something, but I can't afford the shipping and I haven't got much stuff

I'll definitely consider it, though. Maybe I can find a way to make this work. Everyone likes home-made cookies, right?!

I agree, it was this guy's lucky haul to do with what he pleases. He is definitely one lucky SOB. He should enjoy this very much so. The probability of ever getting another letter is probably 1 in a bazillion. Heck, it is hard enough to get a Boggy Old Creature, so enjoy it while you can.

It isn't guilt, I just don't think that some people understand the spirit of Woot. It is kind of like the person earlier in this thread who got a Nike golf club and wants to sell it for $100, yet it was on Woot for $70 a few months ago, and yes they paid $3 for it. That's not cool in my book. You get something for nothing, so pay it forward or sell it and don't try to make a killing....that's what it is all about. I'm not saying give it away or anything like that. Certainly the time and frustration that would have to be put in for the shipping is worth something, not to mention the actual cost of shipping something. Let me put it like this, if you win a 32" LCD TV and really don't have anywhere else in your house to put it, because maybe you already bought two bigger ones and then you won two more in a Boggy Old Creature from say, WOOT. So you give it to your little brother Johnny because he needs a TV. Then a few weeks later you go to Johnny's and there is no TV and you ask, "Where's that cool TV I gave you?" Then Johnny tells you that he sold it to his friend for $250 because he needed beer money or whatever.....you're probably not going to be too happy with him. I bet it would certainly be the last thing you ever gave Johnny.

Don't let me bring you down, enjoy your haul. I can tell from your posts that your heart is in the right place. I was and am simply making an observation. The Woot gods seem to have a sense of humor and they seem to have a little black book that they use to keep notes on us all. I just don't want your next Boggy Old Creature to have rubber dog pooo, a Belkin case, and a broken whatchamacallit in it.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

I don't see anything wrong with parano1d selling his stuff. I know if I got a bunch of Brothers in Arms Action Figures, I would just go to Toys for Tots and get a tax write-off. But with the scaffolding that he got, its not that easy to do get rid of.

I'm pretty sure the Christmas woot will be the "lottery" with red & blue lights. The value will go down, so I would sell as much of them as I can.

Congrats on the haul Parano1a.

You probably did yourself a disservice by announcing on here that you might give away Woot lights if they don't sell. We are your target buyer and with that info we are less likely to bid.

That being said, I already have Woot lights so I wouldn't have bid anyway.

It's been crazy lately, but I've finally gotten the pictures for my Boggy Old Creature. It arrived on Nov. 7th, so it was pretty early on, weighing 4.2 lbs. I think I got a few things that were different than what other people had listed:
Everything

1 Targus Notebook cooler (switch doesn't work)
1 Burpmaster key chain (pre-opened package, but works)
1 XM satellite radio holder
1 Sanza case
1 Blue and Red woot! lights

Notebook cooler
Note on the notebook cooler (haven't messed around with it yet to see if I can get it to work)

Not bad, but I was hoping for something I could use other than the woot lights. If I get the cooler working that'd definitely make it worthwhile, but I already have the same one (with a broken cable, so now I have parts for it ).

I can't verify that the glasses will work at all since I don't have an Ipod. But hey, it came as scaffolding, you'll get scaffolding, who knows.

One man's scaffolding is another man's crappy treasure.

I have no idea what it belongs to.

Do you still have this adapter? I need one for a 7" Kodak digital frame. Let me know if you still have it and how much you'd want for it.
