Do you really think thats slightly different?
that thing you are looking at buy.com is liek 8 years ago tech. it has no video at all, it does have a radio but so does the fuze. It cannot accept any type of card much less the latest micro sdhc.
not to metion it's a funky plastic body - the one at buy. com should be priced under 20.00. thats what i am saying. say like 18.00 stocking stuffer.
for real. the fuze here is the way to go.
also i believe this can be rock boxed which is cool as hell.

I would love to find your trash can. i wish everyone that ever had one of these wwould send me thier s after teh battery is run down.
I'd be a millionair - my over head would be so incredibly low and my price on them would be un matchaable - plus i would offer to pre load them with up to ten albums of the buyers choice.
Our Movie Genre all my parayers would be answered.

drm does not amuse me in the least, nor does media 'subscription'.
Media ought be device/platform agnostic.
Be aware of THE video format issue:

Container:
Fully Interleaved AVI
CODEC:
MPEG-4 Simple Profile level 1 or 2
Bit rate
Up to 512Kbps
Resolutions
QCIF+ (224x176)
FPS
Up to 20 fps
yay? no: the opposite of yay!

However, the reviewer's statement "regular AVI" does detract from the credibility of the post as a whole.
BE SURE to manually update the firmware otherwise you'll receive 'comlimentary bloatware':

The fuze ought support multiple video containers- and codecs. Requiring the use of their transcoding application is less than ideal at best.
For video playback the manufacturer would be better served providing an HDMI out option to make it a portable "media streamer" analog.
