I bought one of these the last time they were a regular Woot. It works well; the sound is a bit tinny, but the noise filtering is more effective than on my previous headsets (a Jabra and a Plantronics), important for me since I have a noisy car. It's also pretty small.

Regarding the rebate, I sent in the form right away and received an email yesterday saying my $20 rebate (in the form of a Visa gift card) is being processed.

Note about Woots: don't plan for speed - of shipping or rebates or anything. But they work out well in the end.

Not a bluetooth connoisseur, but I like the unit, works great for me. Simple, and no one has complained about sound quality on their end. I can hear well except sometimes in the car at speed, when I might need to hold the earpiece into my ear.

They are great, I bought three the last time they did this and I already have confirmation and approval of the rebate. I expect to see the Visa Gift Cards soon

Yeah, they didn't post my first BF comment. I already bought this Bluetooth and it works well. It also came with the $20 rebate option which I forgot ALL about until I saw it re-posted here tonight. I hope I kept the packaging. Anyway, even though it's free (if you remember to submit the rebate)...this is a pretty cancellation Woot considering the day.

I bought this from Woot, last month. I sent in the rebate, but haven't yet used the bluetooth. I've still got like 3 or 4 more WEP200s (my personal favorite, because there's no thingamabob to go around your ear (has an ear loop)), plus a couple of Nokia bluetooths that I got from Fry's for $19.99 - $15 MIR (already received them both.) Tomorrow, Fry's has a different Samsung bluetooth headset for $19.99 (regular price is $39.99) - $15 MIR, for the same total price of $4.99 (+tax). Usually, Fry's stocks up on them BIG TIME, because I always go way late and they still have the bluetooth units.

I bought this the first time it was on woot. It works great and the rebate gives you an online link to track the status, and the processing for mine is going smoothly.

Works well, the ear piece is a little big for my ear but for essentially free, I can't complain.

I sent in my rebate application a couple of weeks back and today I got a confirmation of the rebate and I should see the Visa Gift Cards soon.

These work nicely (from the other end of the conversation, from my perspective, though I haven't used it myself), but the over-the-ear plastic piece is extremely rigid (so you will probably snap it before being able to bend it).

One of mine from a previous woot came without the little black o-ring surrounding the earpiece, which made the headset uncomfortable, but if the rebate comes then it will have still been worth the $5 shipping.

Argh. I sent an email asking to cancel my order a minute after buying this. It looks decent, but 20 dollars now is worth more to me than a 5 dollar headset later.

It appears you have overlooked the fact that today is Black Friday

While I appreciate that after the rebate this would only cost shipping charges, I don't think this gives the instant gratification that a Black Friday Deal should have.

I feel let down by your disregard for the needs of your compulsive shopping horde of followers.

got 3 last time and they sent me a confirmation on the rebates not too long ago..

but since this is limit 1 and the rebate limit might conflict from last time, i won't risk it.

I'm in for one.. I was looking for a bluetooth car kit for someone on my christmas list.. I can't find many good deals on those this year.

I think Kmart had some sort of deal for $20.00 but the closest Kmart is 90 miles away. I'll settle for this, hopefully the person doesn't yet have one..

Bought one of these a few weeks ago when Woot! last offered them. Sound quality is surprisingly good, and battery life is more than acceptable. Haven't sent the rebate in yet, but that's cuz I'm lazy. Only minus is that it comes with only a wall charger, I searched around the web and bought a compatible car charger for like $5 though so it's all good.

I understand this thing is free, but the roombas 2 years ago at 100 dollars were a HECK of a lot better deal than something you have to spend time getting a rebate on.

If you think $4.99 for a bluetooth headset is good, $4.99 for 3 is even better, cause you can get 3 rebates and Woot charges the same to ship 3. I got these a month ago so I have no idea about the rebate, the sound on these is fine, and my wife can use it because it comes with an on off switch. It probably isn't the best sounding, the most efficient at noise cancellation, or frankly best at anything, but it isn't big, and works just fine for CHEEP. It snugs up in your ear fine, and if you want to jam it in like an earbud, could work without the earhook. Small and light and easy to use.

Could the static come from your phone? [I have this problem with a Samsung Sync. whenever I move it - even slightly]. In a car, every uneven-ess in the road causes static. This happens with every Bluetooth device, so I have just ordered a new phone.
