At this size, there is no difference between 720 and 1080.

My mom bought the philips tv for my son when it was on here last. Within a week it wouldn't turn on. We contacted the company and they sent us another, with us using that packaging to send the first one back. The second tv lasted three days. I am still waiting on the third tv to get here.

Holy smokes, too many choices. Wooters aren't used to choices!

From what I've learned over the years being a HDTV geek. The difference between 720P and 1080I/P can only be seen with the naked eye when the screen size is above 32". Hope this helps...also, at 19" 720P is PLENTY for a great picture.

LOL, this TV reminds me of the episode of "The Office" entitled "Dinner Party." Michael shows off his new "HDTV Plasma TV that he mounted himself to the wall." In reality, it was about a 10" screen TV.

About the only place I can see this working is in the bathroom. I don't spend enough time in there to watch TV.

I bought a 23.6" (1920x1080), capable of 1080p w/ HDMI on newegg months ago for only $190, new. This is nothing even close to special. 3 years ago I got a 19" for 180 new. My statement stands. Crappy woot :\

I've owned the Magnavox 19MF337B/27B for over two years now. It's been moved from state to state, used as a computer monitor, TV, and for playing epic Call of Duty matches all night long. I haven't had a single problem with it.

The only weird thing is if you use it as a computer monitor and it goes into your screen saver, when you wake it back up, the screen is usually off centered or skewed. Just change the channel and change it back and problem is solved.

Planning to mount one of these in a corner, and not sure how big the bracket must be? The bracket must extend more than half the width of the TV.

No Amazon hits for the Philips, but here are the so-so reviews from Amazon on the two Magnavox TVs:

Oklahoma wooters think this tv is OK!

The ones with 1440x900 WXGA+ resolution would make good computer monitors for a decent price. Plus, they're TVs!

The puppy on the left is way cuter. I believe it's a shitzu. And the one on the right is a Yellow Lab. I believe that's correct.

Very tempted, but the brand and 90 day warranty are my cause for concern. Refurbs at this size and price are becoming more common, more frequently.

Sure it's not a Golden? Our Golden looked a lot like that puppy, except it was way cuter, of course.

Maybe it was first sucker for one kind of t.v. then it changed when the first of another kind was purchased.

True, but at the same time, I find myself disappointed in Woot. They can't even bend the laws of physics.

So I'm guessing viewing SD on these at 4:3 would be like watching a 13" regular tv.
Anotherwords, you better be watching HD 16:9 content on these the majority of the time or you'll be watching SD greatly reduced in size.
