That seems awfully quick for it just arriving at the facility today.

I'll definitely post pics when it arrives!

Very exciting! While it is a bit lighter, it is still quite the respectable weight. I have my fingers crossed for you!

Hey KTCallista - Congrats! Now hopefully his feeding schedule will not interfere with your ability to get him his first Boggy Old Creature!

Admittedly, I rescheduled feeding my two week old for a few minutes when I scored my SSOC. She was sleeping so I don't feel too guilty ;)

Orc posted this about 5 p.m. today.

KtC is not doing well. She is in a lot of pain. The doctor put her on antibiotics, a pain increaser and a pain decreaser.

She won't be getting on to post much for a few days.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Here we go again.

Estimated delivery date was suppose to be today but it's just about 4pm here and I've got nothing. The tracking page still shows the delivery date as the 27th. Haven't had a scan since it left Hutchins, TX early yesterday morning @ 2:29am.

The page still shows the package as being "On Schedule".

I'm assuming the date will just change to tomorrow since it is an "estimated" date. Hard to believe it would go from TX to MN in a 36 hour period using Fedex Ground.

I guess I've waited over a month for the blasted thing, what's another day...

It looks like my Boggy Old Creature replacement has just arrived at the St. Paul Fedex location.

No surprise that the delivery date has been changed from the 27th to the 28th.

Still waiting on news of what the second letter has in store for its recipient!

While I wait I will enjoy also waiting on my first ever two in a row craps. I'm hoping for a turkey come next month with three

When I looked today, the last two posts had the latest information about the two letters.

I'm thinking we're never going to know what the second letter yielded. Maybe it was so grand a pallet that the recipient is still "constructing" a fabulous picture for all us to see?

So, I guess we can infer that it was either 1) something so good - like a billion dollars or a time machine - to make one never want to come back, or 2) something horrific - like the videotape from the Ring.

Woot is capable of both.

Don't think anyone really cares, but I finally got my replacement Boggy Old Creature as well. I mentioned I would post what I got, so here it is:

12 - 2-pack calculators
4 - Star Trek vinyl figurines
6 - Metal buckets (various sizes)
1 - beat up army action figure

Quite disappointing for a 10.6lb package, but with the $3 I paid for it.

I was getting off a long day at work and called the wife and she said a weird box came in the mail for me. My mind ran with what it could be so I flew home and it was my "lost" Boggy Old Creature! Couldn't believe it had actually been delivered almost a month after it was initially shipped.

The box was completely beat to heck. There was a hole in the corner of the box with "Received Damaged" stamps everywhere.

So my "original" Boggy Old Creature contained:

1 - First Act electric guitar (actually in good cosmetic condition, does have a missing string though. Guitar only, no amp)

1 - Snow sled/board. Too small to sit on, but not really meant to stand on I think? I tried it out last night and just about ended up at the hospital. Beat my knee up pretty bad trying to be the Tony Hawk of snowboarding.

1 - Slinky

2 - XM Radio cases

2 - Sanford pencils

I think I'm going to contact Woot and let them know that the "lost" Boggy Old Creature has finally arrived. I did ask them if it would be possible to track and wait for the missing package but they said once it's lost, it's lost.

The original package was mailed out on January 6th and arrived on February 1st. No idea what caused the delay, but I assume the large box size had something to do with it.

All in all, it was quite the experience Woot! Thanks for the ride

A sign that you've successfully passed on the excitement of Wooting to your family is when your mom scolds you for not posting your baby of the cosmos in the discussion board. Luckily I got off with a warning this time.

So here's my 4.4lb scaffolding mom;
2x Viagra stress pills
1x Slinky
1x Sham-wow
1x Blood pressure monitor (my friends had a good time seeing if they could play dead, 310/20 is still living isn't it?)
2x Mechanical pencils
1x Satellite radio bag

Meike (previously seen here, here, and here) was so excited to pose for another appearance on woot that she wanted to show off her food bowl. She then insisted that I fill it.

On a side note, here's Meike enjoying rare Texas snow from Christmas. Yes a white Texas Christmas!

Yep, she's a Keeshond and a great dog too! But it's been an up hill battle to convince our fellow wooters of it too. She keeps getting referred to as "the dog that looks like it will rip your face off".

I enjoy the challenge though and it's an excuse to post more pictures of my favorite dog!

There will at least one more opening posted in this thread.

My Christmas Boggy Old Creature was be delivered to my house the day after I returned to college for the spring semester. The 6.4 pound Boggy Old Creature has been sitting somewhere in the house since January 11th and will continue to do so until my spring break starts on March 6th. Luckily I'm the only wooter in the house so I'm relatively sure no one has tried to open it.

Stay tuned.
