These are great(I keep saying this) I really like the audio recorder function, its nice for recording lecture in class.

I have the E260 and it was a refurb, just like new and has a lot of similarities with this. Myne is also a 4 gig they are great and i highly recommend this to anyone who wants an inexpensive but great fm tuner/mp3 player

Does the Woot business card come with it?

I can attest to the quality of the Sansa Fuze line in general. The FM tuner is better than my car stereo. The menu is intuitive and easy to learn. And the controls rotate a full 360 for those of us who hate Apples touch wheel! Great deal!

This is likely the first generation, which is getting really close to having a stable Rockbox release.

This is a great MP3 player. I bought one for my mother who doesn't get along with electronics and another for myself. She loves it. Everything about it is simple and easy. Though it's tiny, the buttons are still easy to access.

Also, it works perfectly with Rhapsody (music subscription service). The MP3 player prompts you when it's time to renew the subscriptions!

Got this myself last woot-off for a bit more. The refurb is in great shape, but it does have "refurb" etched onto the back of it. No problems at all a month later.

The headphones it comes with are terrible; I suggest getting your own. Other than that it is about the perfect portable media player.

Deal breaker: Can I RockBox this?

I purchased one of these -red one- a couple of months ago as a Christmas present for my nine year old. It was refurbished from woot. We added a 16 gig sd card and it is great! It is easy to navigate through the menus and the equalizer is really nice. We added some noise canceling earphones leftover from a lousy mix-max and it sounds beautiful. The battery also lasts forever. I might even buy me one. We have been very pleased.

Confirmation as to whether it's first or second generation would be nice. First generation Fuze is almost completely working with Rockbox at this point, though it's still marked as unstable.

I got the 1gb Sansa during the last woot off. These little devices work incredibly well. I'd get one if I didn't already have both a Sansa and an iPod.

So tempted to get three and give them to my wife and kids... must resist urge to be generous... I love my Fuze!

Agreed.

Got one in the previous woot-off, and it's great. I love that it has an FM radio and the expansion slot.

The only problem I have with it is that it's not compatible with iTunes, or even tracks bought from iTunes or pulled from CDS using iTunes. If anyone has any suggestions for converting or otherwise dealing with this, please share!

I agree, I have two sandisks and two nanos. I like the sandisks better. Of course the new nanos do much more.
