The few times it did work, it worked really well dry when I first strapped it on. Sounds like the type of thing where a lemon occurs much more than it should..

I wonder if it has something to do with the replaceable battery then. With the Polar, the battery wasn't replaceable. You were just supposed to thrrow the chest strap away after a couple of years when the battery went dead.

It always amazes me when something takes this long to sell out. I always wonder why it would take someone 45 minutes to an hour to buy something. Or, is it people that just haven't refreshed in a while that see an item and decide to buy it? Do people sometimes just buy stuff to move the woot off along? What if it's a $300 knife set? Are some people waiting for a call back from his/her significant other for approval to buy something?

I think I ask too much of myself trying to figure this stuff out...

i wonder how these things do for people with a-fib or mitral valve prolapse. my heartbeat is as irregular as an 80 year olds bowels.

For me I was doing comparisons and looking for reviews. I have wanted a hr monitor for a while. And I figure for 30 bucks I might as well try it. Sounds like half of them are lemons but there is a warranty. And if something happens it doesn't work, I figure I am only out 30 bucks.

Ok, this is it. Next item that pops up needs to take an hour to sell out so I don't miss anything. Thanks.
