Have a feeling these will be up for a while..... Who wants to get in to shape? I mean after all we are all sitting on our asses hitting the refresh button!

I have one of these. It works pretty reliably, however two different times it wasn't picking up my heart rate. I readjusted the strap and it started working. All in all, I'd say I'm satisfied.

Aw, if only this was that one they had a while back that did irregular heartbeat detection...

Is the watch compatible with the Polar monitor? I need a new watch with a heart rate monitor on it.

Bought one of these. Thought it didn't work. Then my wife was kind enough to point out that I'm a heartless bastard.

How does it measure distance? Sick of carrying a GPS and a Heart Rate monitor, will this solve the problem?

Bought one as my first Woot a while back. Love it, use it 4 to 5 times a week. To get the belt to work reliably you have to be sure your battery is good and it helps to sweat a little - makes better contact.

Range seems to be a little further than 25 inches. Can be fun to mess with those on either side of me at the Y. Makes their treadmill speed up or slow down depending on their age and my heart rate. (OK so it's a stretch to call it fun.)

I had to do that as well. I posted earlier it only worked about 1/3 of the time and it was always after I adjusted the strap. But most of the time I could not figure it out and was never able to nail down why it worked at times. Based on my experience with the one I bought, I say "Buyer beware" of anything from Proform.

Yeah, just googled for it and found someone in a previous woot of the same item saying this is the case (also that the typo is in the manual, not woot's fault).

I would get one if it had USB-chargeable batteries instead of replaceable ones. I hate replacing batteries.

someone please buy this scaffolding, so that we can maybe see something of actual value in this woot-off.

So far everything seems to be sub-par at best.

I bought this in a recent woot. Didn't work out of the box. Woot says contact manufacturer, they (Pro-form) say THEY DON'T MAKE THESE. Stuck with a box of junk.
