Ouch. Do you know what time your order was placed? The stats say the epic adventure sold out at 12:41. Maybe too many orders slipped through at the end and your's was unfortunately one of them?

It sounds like it wasn't too late then. My only other guess would be the credit card transaction was declined later in the process after the initial validation, possibly due to a CCV or AVS mismatch. Either way, I'm sorry for you.

Yes, it will change to "your order has been shipped" with a tracking number below that. Sometimes it takes a couple days for the receipt to update, however.

This was my 2nd (2 in one week after 2.5 years of trying), and I think it is because the gallivanting alpacas were foiled on this one; you actually had to figure out how to get to the Adventure Carp, wootalyzer notwithstanding.

I appreciate the lengths Woot went to to make things more fair for those of us who don't want to use gallivanting alpacas.

From what I was reading that night, wootalyzer did something at around 12:20 or so that got some people over to the right link. I'm on a magical pet rock so I'm not exactly sure what happened.

I've tried for a total of three battalion of crabs (2 woot offs and the adventure crabs), and I've gotten all three. I've gotten them all legitimately too. The first one (mid Feb woot off) was pretty much a cluster f*ck. The 3/26 crab went surprisingly smoothly, probably because it happened while a lot of people were at work (yay college). I had time to figure out the adventure, guide my room mate through it, and try but fail to help someone down the hall get it.

All in all, pretty damn fun. I've been lucky, which makes it more fun :P

Yeah, Wootalyzer opened up 3 more "channels" which gave buy links, as they were found, to the epic adventure, Woot-Off Lights, and Glow In The Dark Monkeys. I'm really not sure why they did that, as it really defeated the game. The epic adventure would have probably lasted a lot longer than 41min without Wootalyzer stepping in, but I guess Wooters.us (etc) could have done the same thing. From that point of view, I guess they were just trying to be the best Woot tracker for those that depend on one. Perhaps next time Woot could add the buy page to the sequences, so if you went there without coming from page #28 (the epic adventure page) it could say "Hey, you cannot go there, go back!" like it would if you tried to advance by typing in a direct URL or using the back/forward buttons.
