I need a new (web based) Woot Tracker. www.bagsofcrap.com/wootsound.htm is not detecting that this is a Woot-Off.

Requirements:
Fast.
Works in IE 6. (I'm at work, don't blame me.)
Plays a sound near the end of a product.
Plays a sound when there is a new product.
I would prefer that it also pop-up a window at end/start of product in case I'm in a meeting and have the volume down.
Auto-refreshes.
Nothing is installed. (Again, I'm at work.)

I don't care about pictures or descriptions so much, because it's really just an alert to check Woot. I don't care about ads (as long as they are not obnoxious) because Woot-Trackers need to pay for hosting, too.

Thanks in advance!

(Had to move the post because the camera just sold out.)

Does anyone know if I could fit a better power supply in this bad boy? If I could put a better video card in there, it would be pretty awesome but I need atleast a 500 watt power supply.

Would be nice if not for the integrated video and the 300W power supply. Can that PS even run this beast? Yikes.

About $55 cheaper then the newegg one($539.99) though you could put that towards the 1 year warranty. Newegg only gives a 90 day warranty and charges $60 for 1 year extended.

I have this exact model and writing on it now. Flawless and fast and no issues. In fact, we have two of them. Also nearly silent in operation, which I can't say about the Dell and Gateway this replaced.

Yes. But it is not Mac compatible

We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other.

Just got 1 for 529 had a 700 watt power supply and a HD 4850 card installed both fired it up and real nice computer but if you are looking to keep the on board graphics you might be disappointed. Need to install bigger power supply as it only has a 300W Nice Computer

Nice machine for the price, but if you want to play high end games, get a good graphics card, and change out that useless power supply, and put at lease a 500 watt.Even HP's best machine, only has a 450 watt.I had a HP last year, until the motherboard took a crap.Build a AMD Athlon II X4 630 processor 2.8

The short answer: Yes. The long answer: Maybe.

This has an AM3 socket, so any AM3 CPU SHOULD work. The issue comes down to the BIOS. Some computers require a flash (upgrade) of the BIOS to use new CPUs. So it's all up to HP if they want to release a BIOS upgrade to enable 6 cores or not. But electrically it's compatible...

It's easy as long as the MOBO can handle it, I think.
