Is there a way to tell how many they sold since the stats disappear on Happy Hour when the new item comes up?

Got my first one. So happy!! Thanks to all those that were posting the link to happy hour in the boards. Also, I am thankful that I didn't have to be a twitter follower to get access. I was using a tracker, and it definitely helped. So excited to get my first Book of Crap!!! I did my own little happy dance at my desk when it happened, so did one of the girls I work with she was able to get one too!!

Anyone have thoughts about whether or not they think woot will have another one in the regular wootoff? It would be great to have my husband be able to get one.

For those who don't follow the happy hour...the last two did not have a Bowl of Cereal. And people were like wth? Now it makes sense...they were saving it for this woot-off. Plus if you read the description on the GPS unit you could see this one coming.

There was a Bowl of Cereal on the 4/14 happyhour, but not on the 4/21.

I think there was a happy hour that was b2b days last week, and neither one had the Bag. That was what I was referring to when I said "the last 2 hh." I know there was one on the 4/21

I got my first Book of Crap today. Didn't even have to use wooters, just some sort of divine luck. I was literally explaining to a friend what the Bowl of Cereal was and it just popped up on the page. I can't wait!

Heyya, fellow wooters!

Bumped into this thread - so I thought I'd check in too! Thanks to Woot, I'm now a "proud" owner of a "private" and strictly "read-only" Twitter account just for following woot and wootoff (former with SMS notifications).

Thanks to those notifications, my BоС #9 became a reality last afternoon! Despite being laughed at by my family members, that everyone sat at the dining table with plates and utensils in front of them, I sat with a laptop and a cell phone instead! It did pay off!

So welcome aboard all newcomers, and congrats to all who scored! Looking forward to see what everyone gets this time!

P.S. This thread seems a lot quieter than the straight forward BоC threads! Perhaps someone who actually tweets, may tweet @woot, and post a link to this thread?

Personally, I'm glad woot is changing things up a bit. The same thing over and over again gets old. But with the april fool's adventure and now happy hour, things are getting fresh again. I don't have a twitter account, but I still scored my first box of chocolate after over a year of following woot.

I didn't even know that a new bag was offered even though I was checking religiously, but not the happy hour site. It would have been rad to get a bag on my birthday, but I guess it wasn't in the cards

Did anyone catch the description/blog for this Bowl of Cereal? When it came on the happy hour my mind went on "autopilot" and I was able to snag one, but I didn't get a chance to read the description. They are always worth a read, so I was wondering if we can somehow get back to it?

Yeah, compared to some of the other craps out there, the Adventure one seemed kind of disappointing. Maybe because it was a "freebie" to those who were dedicated to stay up that late

I got a baby blanket, much to the joy of my wife, from that Bowl of Cereal instead of a t-shirt. The highlight from that bag was the red & blue Woot lights.

And yes, I got the Woot-Off Happy Hour Bowl of Cereal this go around. Phone chimed a new tweet, hit F5 (didn't even read the tweet), saw it, clicked buy, and was in before the server slowed.

As someone who doesn't use Twitter, is there some kind of push notification out there to alert people of Happy Hours? I'd love to participate, but I don't want to join Twitter just to follow Woot heh

Meh, join twitter and then set up an rss feed for it on google reader or something like that, thats how I check if there will be one. Then head over to the happy hou site, and start F5ing.
