Correction: Staples is selling the "Cover W/Light" for $54.99. The actual reader costs $179.99 at Staples. The Woot price is a solid bargain.

No MP3, no dictionary, no notes / highlighting. No wireless, no card slot. Of course, having said all that, it seems that the one thing it does do -- read e-Books -- it does extremely well.

I have to admit my books don't do any of those other things either. They just lay there.

I have a Kindle and my husband has the Sony. I just wooted this, because I like to download books from the library. The Kindle does not accept that file format. Um, it looks like the product to which you are referring @ Staples is the Digital Reader pocket edition CASE, not the reader itself.

If you have an iPhone, you can download Kindle software for free and not need this. Kindle also makes software for your PC, so you should be able to put it on your netbook as well.

People are paying the same price for a Kindle that doesn't have expandable memory, etc... And Sudoku is just the start... Nook runs Android, which means that bigger and better things are on the way...
