The instructions say that the arm isn't supposed to move, its hinged to prevent the speaker from being damaged during shipping

not yet- I was confused when i got a letter b/c I thought there was only one sent out each time, so I emailed to see if there was anything I should do, and the powers-that-woot emailed me back and said to sit tight and my last item would ship by Friday.

Book of Crap was typical:

6 x Disney Cinderella Director Packs
1 x Dancing Snowman
1 x Wine Bag
13 x Texas Air

EXCEPT I at least got something I haven't seen posted yet (though I haven't read the last couple pages):

1 x Professional Bull Riding Coasters (set of 4 inside a tin can)

Man, I actually only got three things. I got:

6 pack of the Cinderella DVD things
1 5 pack of size 2023 batteries
Whimsical folk art garland
Woot wine bag.

I feel gipped. Everyone else got more stuff than me.

Well they did after all send pure crap to everyone else so I guess 3 (if not more) letters this time around isn't killing them! hehe

For the record, I am in no way complaining about my said crap! I'm happy with my crap!

Got mine today! FedEx had it listed at 3.1 lbs. Here is what was in it:

  • Wine bag
  • Eddie Munster 8 inch action figure
  • Western digital 80 GB hard drive (I still have to see if it works...)
  • GP Lithium 3 Volt CR2025 Battery 5 Pack
  • NBA Playing Cards - Memphis Grizzlies
  • Two Teen Titans Pewter Kecyhains
  • Spongebob Squarepants Cards-on-the-Run
  • Michigan J. Frog figurine
  • Blue Headshox Metal Earbuds
  • Funky Whimsical Folk Art designed by Becky Cassio

My cats are trying to eat the Funky Whimsical Folk Art. I would give it to them as a toy, but it has metal wires and I don't want them to hurt themselves. I may annoy a coworker with it, or hang it outside to annoy my neighbors.

I really like the Michigan J. Frog figurine, and I can always use more headphones! And if the hard drive works, it will be nice. Otherwise I have a nice book-end.

I wish I would have gotten the bag instead of the 6 Disney things. It's hard for a 6 year old girl to see those and be told there's absolutely nothing that she can do with them. A pink bag on the other hand, she'd love! lol Oh well, maybe I'll try to cl them for a buck each or something.

Delurking (although it has been so fun reading this thread over the past few days!) to say that I received my box of cookies and it contained:
6 Cinderella software things for the Flix thing
2 Dirt seasonings (Bayou)
1 wine bag
1 strip o batteries (the ones everyone else has gotten)

No air, but the software came in its own box, which likely contributed to the box coming in at 3.1 lbs.

My first random bag, and the carp, while great, was only half as fun as the anticipation.

Thanks Woot!

Now to see what the letter receivers get on Friday...

I just opened mine (wearing my Woot Screaming Monkey t-shirt, coincidentally) and it's one of the better ones I've received (out of seven).

2x - Wine totes
6x - Cinderella software thingies
1x - Classic Marvel Battles (The Hulk vs. Thor)
1x - Tinker Bell playing cards
1x - Snowman
1x - Snap-together plastic model kit of a "Scorpion" vehicle from Star Trek Nemesis, including itty bitty Picard & Data
11x - Texas air

Nothing broken this time--it's always a letdown to get something really cool and then discover it's DOA. (Once, I got an LCD projector and two iPods, just to discover that they were all dead.)

i'd have a nerdgasm if i got a broken ipod or projector. they tossed "broken" projectors out at work i took them apart one had a bad bulb the other had a cracked main board so i switched the light bulb and just like that i had a newish projector. the ipods can be parted out and played with to power other electronics such as my mini spy cam etc.

I would have opened up the projector, except that I don't have the right kind of screwdriver; the holes are too narrow for a changeable-bit one. I plan to donate it to a local kids'-science museum in case they want to take the trouble to work on it. I'm pretty sure that it isn't the bulb, because nothing at all happens when I press the power button--no power lights, no fan... (The bulb would probably be half the value of it even if it worked.)
I've opened a few iPods in the past, but never successfully fixed one. I always messed up the gaskets and stuff. There's a pretty good chance that these two could be combined into one good one, by someone competent. One shows the dead-iPod icon on its screen, the other has some kind of charging problem.

My 2.1 lb and 8.85 cubed box just left Martinsburg and is still just that - cubed. Is that strange or abnormal? I was reading from a few other helpful Wooters that the dimensions are supposed to switched from placeholders once they pass through the first Fedex sorting station.
