Only HTML comment that I see is the word 'Check' in the line Gimme Yo Digits.
I assumed this meant check the digits.
One of the book is linked to the overdrive site so I am assuming that the digit is from some number on the product page over at overdrive.

The only other clue I see is Books....Check 'em out! but no idea how it ties in....

you have all of the relevant information. you just need to interpret that html comment in a slightly different way.

If I am completely stumped at 24, would I be wise to give up now? Will I simply not enjoy these puzzles any further beyond this point?

Well there are hard ones once in a while, but there was a long stretch of relatively easy ones (or at least tricks that we've seen on previous ones) leading into the 70s or so.

Yeah. Go back through the previous 9 puzzles and find them.

I think he's saying he's done this--once you assemble it you get a descriptor, and it is unclear to both of us, it seems, how this descriptor relates to the image. None of the obvious candidates, satisfying this descriptor, appear to work.

meh. i already have 'heart' (or something like this), and i've already dug through the blog post about "WiTty Perspectives", and i've even found the picture on flickr. i'm missing some some other piece of information, or some way to put things together.

I think we may not be talking about the same puzzle. Other than there being a picture, none of what you said relates to #36 as far as I can tell.

36 is easy actually. The answer is similar to Level 12. You just have to go back and find the 9 clues.....

The things at the top do have relevance, but not right away. Concentrate on figuring out what the stuff in the squares means.

Son of a...I got it now. Took me an hour to figure out what to do with my correct calculation.

I got 52...but I didn't get 52? As in, I solved the puzzle but that doesn't seem to do anything. Does this have to do with the image?

EDIT: Oh wow. Subtle...

Huh, worked first time on my Mac... if only I hadn't spent over an hour trying to get it to work on my PC...lesson learned.

Do you mean the *real* 51? Either way, you might recognize this method from earlier.

For those still suffering, take that!
But seriously you don't need that !== thing, my earlier answer was only off by a little bit.

I see the seppuku answer for 32, but I can't seem to figure out how to put it in. Is the desired solution for multiple issues or just one?

It's the sequence of missing keystrokes in the order that they should appear in the code.

Hate to unbreak it for myself, but I certainly have. Kind of hard to prove without spoiling something, or without someone else getting there.

All i can say is that it involves a 12x12 grid.

I'm strugglin' on 53, probably calling it a night now. Is there something fundamental that I'm missing here? Maybe I'm just not that good with regexp...
EDIT: Yes. Yes there was.
