I give up until someone gives a hint. Going to play Mario Galaxy 2.

Like it says in the hint, you need to use a google service, but not the web search. You can't use bing's equivalent because it lacks sufficient detail.

I tried using google maps but can't because those are not real coordinates. Lat/long only goes up to 90 degrees. Am I wrong? Nothing else gives any results at all.

I'm with you. I really think I'm over thinking it. I've tried every possible url that it could be; looking for the page in the image directory; putting a submit button on the page and clicking (to various urls); even looking for hints in the __VIEWSTATE hidden tag..

As for the image, I can't see anything about it that would be a clue. Converting to base64 to try to find a hint did nothing. The image dimentions, size, and type don't give anything.. Nothing special when rotating it.

Ahhh!! driving me crazy!! Gonna spend another 15 minutes or so then I'm trying last years puzzle.

Maybe they're in the wrong order?

On level 2, what are the squares with a number in the top left corner supposed to mean?

Look at the source. The name of the image seems off...

It's pretty elementary.

Hints for 9 would be appreciated. The image displays on Chrome as the png it's linked to which is broken, displays the red x on IE, Safari with Silver light doesn't display the image at all.

Noticed the url name they link to is capital A when the rest are lower case for the Asset directory, it doesn't seem to have any difference when changing it though. Server is not case sensitive.

Ok, that was TOO cheap.

On 13 now, but not sure how to proceed. I found something long that I'm not sure what to do with. (giggity)

Nevermind I got it. FYI for anyone stuck on 9, confirmed that it works using IE on Windows 7 without Silverlight installed. It's hit or miss on alternate OS's/browsers and if you have Silverlight installed.

Got the password for 5, but it's forwarding me to a page that doesn't exist? This part of the puzzle? Did anyone else get the 404?

The most obvious answer I could come up was "Murder in the First" but maybe I'm just totally misreading the question.

That and "JFK", but neither work.

Any hints for 13? I found the long string of span tags (not difficult), but the "obscured text" is just what's found in the box. The hints say there's a simpler way, but I don't know what I'm looking for. Do the span class names have anything to do with it, perhaps?

Check previous responses. I think someone else had the same problem.

I don't see a simpler way to figure out 13, even after trying it the harder way.

You may want to see if there are any new files referenced by this page's source that were not previously.

The only difference I see is the code for the error message.

Try using wget on the image link for #9.

Hmmm.. No resolution to that one other than the fact that it is part of the problem.

Guess I'll take a closer look at the code and see if I can find anything.

I'd been comparing source pages to look for things like that in the earlier puzzles, then stopped. Having now found that particular file, I need to figure out what to do with what appear to be coordinates of some kind. Do I need to rearrange particular letters from the big HTML string or something?

Edit: the reason I ask is it's still a fairly tedious process I don't want to go about if it turns out to be wrong.

What about that tag makes it different from the normal one, other than a different file.

I wasn't responding to you, but you're on the right track. Do those numbers mean anything to you? It probably helps if you are older than 20 or so.

I'm 30. Looks like gibberish to me. I probably haven't yet found what you think I've found.

OK I think I found the 'simpler way' but the numbers still have no meaning to me.

Tried making the id and name the same on the 5 page, and still nothing.

I had put those in a different tool so I didn't get to see the whole hint from the map. I like the effort put into maintaining those bushes/trees!

Which page did you check the code on? You seemed to be on the right track before, look deeper.

Also, notice (if you haven't already) that it only takes you to the 404 page when you give the correct answer. When you put in gibberish as the password, it doesn't change pages, so it's intentionally sending you somewhere.

My problem too. Mapping the numbers to letters gives me a nice little melodical riff I can play, but I don't recognize it as anything. The source gives some kind of anagram reference, although I'm not sure if it's a hint or just the developer taunting us with fun trivia. Any more hints for me on 14?

Great hint, but still stuck on #10.
I'm assuming the numbers in the hint have something to do with the reversed ...location? and page name, but I'm just missing something.
