The tracking said 9.1 pounds, but it felt lighter than that, Ithink.

I left my camera at my friend's July 4 BBQ, so I will be taking a picture tomorrow so people will actually believe me.

.....and one envelope!! But it's not what I thought. When I saw that I though had received the holy grail -- THE LETTER!

So imagine my shock when when instead I find $609 in cash. You read that right: Six Hundred Nine Dollars.

- 30 $20 Bills
- 1 $5 Bill
- 2 $2 bills yeah, $2 bills!

Seriously. I'm not sure anyone will believe me, but I'm not making up.

So yeah, I know that Woot joked about gold bars and all, but I don't think this was meant for me. The envelope was folded up a bit like it had been in someone's pocket. I'm guessing there's some poor bastard who works in the Woot warehouse who accidentally mailed me his or her cash.

I've already written to WOOT about it. There was some writing on the envelope. It said, "For________" If some woot worker can tell me who/what the $ was apparently for, I will return it.

Some of you might think "KEEP IT" -- but this wasn't meant for me and I know it. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I'd kept someone's money.

But oh man.. if no one claims it? HELL YEAH!
LOL, I'm still shaking! What an awesome Bowl of Cereal if I get to keep it!

Well, if I get to keep it, I'm totally buying myself a new (Smallish) flat screen TV!

A reward isn't expected to do the right thing, but if they were feeling generous and end up returning the money, maybe they will reward me with a TV. (Hey, I can dream, right?)

My current TV is about 20 years old, no joke.

My 7.6lb Book of Crap arrived today! It contained:

x1 autolite thing
x1 would u rather desktop calendar
x1 stinky lunchbox
x1 rokenbok R/C dozer and recycling center

The first three things are the usual but the rokenbok toy thing retails for $48 on amazon... so thats decent. Too bad I need to buy a starter kit to use it properly and that is like another $50... So I have no idea what to do with it.

If anyone has 1 or 2 (I have 2 kids) monkeys, HSM clocks, and/or 1pr of wicked ear buds that they'd like to trade, I have a new (and non-smelly to me) black lunch bag (you know you want it) and/or a new (no tags) "Dirty Jobs" woot shirt from the Adventure Crap a couple months back. Yes, like I said in my post, I left my camera at a 4th of July BBQ -- I called my friend and told her what happened and how important it was that I get my camera ASAP (my car is in the shop or I'd drive there tonight!) -- so bless her, she's dropping it by tomorrow morning on her way to work and I'll have pics then.

She did joke that I should reward her with some of that newly found cash. ;)

I got some really random crap. I haven't read through all the posts yet but I got the standard soft black cooler/insulated pack/bag. I also got a sound activated light up snowman, a giant snoopy pez stick pez dispender, and a remote control.

Is anybody missing a remote control to a Philips Home Theater system (or did anybody get the system in their Bowl of Cereal)?
