Do these have a slide in clip on the side? Like to hook it on to a belt or side of your pocket

why wouldn't you want to check it? I've flown dozens of times with my $400 Strider in my checked luggage and have never had any issues.

With that Mother of Pearl it's easily the prettiest knife i've ever seen but $100?...No, thank you.

Besides, if I had a franklin to blow on a knife I'd get the Gerber LMFII!

Woot, Thank you for the crash course in formatting!

This is the absolute best knife for the price. I know 100 bucks is a lot, but to get a better knife you would have to add a zero to the end of this price. I'm a bit broke at present or I would certainly buy one. Heck, I was thinking about buying it from Amazon for $180.

PARTY!!!!!
Now go buy one of my shirts:

Your organization may be able to qualify to carry on those sorts of supplies. At my old job we were able to fly all sorts of disaster relief supplies (scalpels, syringes, etc.) in the cabin.

are these to knives what Bose are to speakers?
...or are they actually good knives?

I work for a SOG distributor. They make nice knives, and this appears to be less than our cost for them (it's not a stock item for us, so I can't say that with certainty). Nice deal!

Sooner or later, a TSA guy will decide he needs it more than you.

Very nice Eddie Murphy reference.

But I don't really want the knife. I rather have a baseball bat.

I paid $20 for my Leatherman Squirt. I'm very happy with that and it does many more things than this one will.

A tactical knife is worth every penny, I got a benchmade (a $200 knife) that has served me well. These are a little small for my taste though or I would be all over it. But, that is what she said :-))

Yeah, I said it, overtly sexual joke that isn't overtly funny. give me something I can buy 3 of for no reason at all except for the fact they are cheap enough for me to afford.

... do you REALLY want a device with a very sharp blade doing *anything* down there?!?

No, I mean TSA.

They do go through checked baggage.
They left a note in my checked baggage once, telling me they looked through it.

I will take all you can supply of this for $25 cheaper than the $100 price tag.

SOG San Mai steel is amazing. Similar to how true Samurai swords are made.

Knives are one of those products where it is true that you get what you pay for.

Of course this is also only true when compared to the lowest price at any retailer, and this yes that was a good deal.

To those of you who got it at that price, you will enjoy it; SOG makes quality products.

Kershaw would also be a good choice for those of you who aren't familiar with quality pocket knives.
