I haven't seen mine ship either. However, looking at the sales numbers for this item, they sold almost 9 thousand umbrellas... we probably broke their entire distribution system ;) I guess we'll get ours when we get ours.

All you folks saying it hasn't shipped yet...you just haven't been notified that it's been shipped yet I bet. Go look at your receipt page. There's a reference number. Look in the red outlined box below to see where it is. You need your shipping zip. If you don't remember it, look where the blue outlined box is below.

Take those two bits of info, go to: https://www.fedex.com/AltRefTracking?cntry_code=us

Put the reference number in the big box. Date should be OK (I ordered 8/12, today is 8/20, so it's not even 15 days from when I ordered, let alone when it shipped). Select the country...United States is the first option. Put in your shipping zip. When you hit "Track", it'll show you the same FedEx tracking info you'd get if you had the tracking number. Also, now you have the tracking number! Mine is actually at my local Post Office, and will probably be delivered tomorrow...earlier than predicted, it seems.

As the poster above you stated, some folks know/knew this already, and I think it may be referenced in the FAQs somewhere, but obviously some didn't otherwise they wouldn't have been asking. Mine too was shipped on the 17th, and delivery attempted today (8/21), though it was too big for my apt mailbox. So, I'll be picking it up at the P.O. on the way to work Monday morning.

I do find it unusual that some folks' items haven't shipped yet 6 business days after the date, AND that those of us who have our stuff, (or almost do) still haven't had that fact acknowledged by Woot with the ship notification email. Then again, 8718 of an item ordered in 1 day is a LOT to pack up and ship out, and it seems they send the emails all at once, even if the items are shipped in batches.

This was my first, and last, Woot purchase. No update from the company after they charged my card. 10 days later I have to go to the forums to stumble onto a link to get tracking information. FedEx estimates it will be here on the 27th. I get stuff from Hong Kong in less time. And, with better customer service.

fyi - I had to enter my order number as a reference number plus enter my country (USA) and my zip code before the FEDEX software would give me my tracking information.

Update on tracking! It seems like *no one* has gotten tracking although all the tracking I have looked at for these items is showing movement. I asked around and we are actually having issues sending out the tracking emails. The emails should go out today barring any further tech issues as we try to fix the one. Until then, you all should be able to get your tracking by going to FedEx here, enter your order number in the reference field and for better accuracy- put in the USA and your zip code.

We don't mind you emailing in asking for tracking, but we're kinda inundated with requests right now. If you don't get a tracking number by tomorrow or can't find it via the method I mention above- you may have reason to worry. Otherwise, I can pretty much guarantee your order is in transit and they all seem to show to be delivering this week.

Mine arrived today, in perfect condition (something I was worried about, given that the last umbrella I purchased through Woot had 3 broken ribs).

Wasn't expecting it to be quite so long when folded up, but I guess the lopsided shape can't magically disappear upon folding.

Received my red umbrella yesterday. There won't be any rain in my area for a while, so no practical tests yet. Still, here's my initial thoughts.

So far, I love it. It's much easier to open than I had first realized. The construction feels sturdy and well-made. The foam grip is nice, the fabric seems strong, and the entire skeleton does indeed feel like it would stand up to some natural punishment.

As far as the looks, I think it looks nifty. It got a lot of flack here for looking too nerdy, but I think it kind of looks sexy. Think Pyramid Head meets a Stealth Bomber. Plus, it's practical. Besides the superior wind resistance, the fact it covers my backpack well was a major deciding factor.

Oh, one thing to point out. Taking it out of the fabric cover/sheath for the first time is tricky — it's a tight fit, and I thought at first I'd have to rip the fabric protection cover to get it opened. This turned out to be tight because the instruction booklet is inside the umbrella. Just take it out carefully (I ended up pulling back the cover and inverting it the other way, kind of like peeling back a banana without actually tearing it) and once the instructions are set aside, it fits back in nicely.

Overall: I love it.

Dang! So, I'm guessing I'm just not getting one at all since after following that well written guide to check shipping, it still came up as "not found" on fedex's website.

I've had good experience with Woot in the past, so I won't just give up on them. But sure would have been nice to have some update or explanation as to why it took 2 weeks for the item to ship, got listed as shipped, and now apparently is not coming at all!

We may simply have overloaded a small distributor, I'd blame them over woot since I bet they're the ones who said "oh yeah we can handle it".

Got mine today, it looks ok, really no concerns about it. Like was said before, it's hard to take it out of the sheath cause it's snagged.
It's much wider than I was expecting, offers good protection I'd assume. I ordered this during a week of rain, and this all sun weather means I'll have time before I take this puppy out.

Shipping times don't bother me at all, I just want a deal.

I had real trouble not running out and showing it off...

Update: Woot has contacted me and informed me of the situation. I'm going with Rasputin on this one, think woots supplier got far overloaded. They're out of khaki, black ones are still coming.
