This thread was created in an attempt to show Woot the error of it's way's and to protest the removal of the Screaming Monkey prize and replace it with the LAME CEC calendar in the weekly Photoshop contest.

Yeah, the 16" Pine Needle Monkeys #35-585 Asst. Colors. are kinda cute.

They look like that soft, fuzzy kind of fur - I'm sure you know what I am talking about.

But would people complain about the size of their monkey, being assorted and all? I guess if you have a small place to put it, the small one would be ideal. Personally, I like the 2 long, lanky ones.

I am kind of fond of the blue and green varieties. The white, tan and brown monkeys are ordinary, but beggars can't be choosers, I guess.

Seriously, if the woot guys are doing well enough that they can give away a big screen tv in a Bag O' C, then they can surely afford to buy some monkeys to pay off all the past winners, as well as stock up for another year or two.

I liike Turken's idea and am starting a Monkey entry for the next contest regardless of the theme.

I'll post early and that will help spread the word this is an all out Monkey revolution.

You know everytime I tell someone about Woot and the Photoshop contest and I mention the Monkey prize it always peeks an intrest and I end up explaining just what the monkey prize is i always get the same response and that is 'That's neat or That's cool"
Now when I mention the Calendar prize all I get is "that sucks"

I'm reminded of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation When Clark's Christmas bonus was switched to a Jelly of the month club . Just a bad idea and bad for Woot. So for Woot's sake we must let the Monkies be heard.
