Everything seems to be OK here! Did you bring your little guy to the playground this week?
I looked for my sons books and couldn't find them, but when he was home from college and sick last week he read "The Butter Battle Book" I think he got it when he was in kindergarten. Have you read that one?

I just ordered "When you lick a slug your tongue goes numb" for my nephew's tenth birthday. It's out of print, so I got it off of Amazon from someone. It's supposed to be new.

We did go to the park a few times, we even walked to the one that's a mile or so away from our house for his playdate. I haven't read that one, we'll have to look for it at the library next time.

It is too late for me to figure out how to spell the author. Green Eggs and Ham This is pitiful, I can't even guess.

Yep, found it. It's Dr. Seuss, and I haven't read that one. Thanks d'name. I read the premise and I think I can use it for an upcoming project at school! Perfect. Gotta love Seuss...that's one deep cat!

It was weird to see him reading it again. I wonder where he has his kid books stashed? I'm afraid of what else I might find if I really look!

Winners' Gallery: the Best of Contest 62

Jason Toon on 06-03-2006 12:00 PM:

....Non-Monkey blather...

Now this: WE HAVE MONKEYS! Our crack team of monkey-prize procurers has procured a variety of simian-themed white elephants, suitable for throwing into the garbage, grinding into low-cost insulation material, or awarding to the lamest entries into your Photoshop contest. Past monkey prize winners who still want a monkey should send a snail mail address to jtoon@woot.com, and we'll expedite your monkey shipment. That goes for you too, hmhupp, for submitting easily the worst of the many Diff'rent Strokes entries. This one reveals a little too much about the dark enigmae of hmhupp's psyche for our comfort.

Winners' Gallery: the Best of Contest "60" (63)

Jason Toon got drunk, then spewed:

....Non-Monkey gibberish...

And our Monkey Prize this week (a batch of which are finally shipping from our office today) goes to deelouise for the mystifying, undercooked, misspelled Systematic Arial Intervention To Eliminate Karma:

Jason Toon got high, then pondered:

....Non-Monkey thoughts...

And now for a historic Monkey Prize: although we don't feel like searching to verify it, as far as we know nobody has ever won both an Honorable Mention and a Monkey Prize in the same contest. Until now. Presenting mnementh and his iPlayer Portable Media River, a lazy anagram represented with a dazzling image:

You were aiming for the Monkey, and you hit it. Fair play to you, sir.

Jason Toon joined a cult, then viewed in his safflower:

....Non-Monkey visions...

No! We tell you no! We won't have snowking16 bringing some young Shreddo in for a Monkey Prize! By candlelight, we suppose, in the clever, off-topic fashion of young men with clever, off-topic minds!

Jason Toon passed gas, then, accidently, passed these bits-o-poop:

....Non-Monkey finger paintings....

Our last few Monkey Prize winners have not taken the "honor" simply because their entries were so bad. That streak ends today. You know how an infinite number of monkeys on an infinite number of typewriters will eventually produce the works of Shakespeare? Well, take a dozen or so monkeys, chain them to computers with Photoshop, and before too long you'd get something better than this entry from rumical. It takes effort to create something this flawed. Respect is due.

Jason Toon, not quite yare, awoke to a new sailor abed, then planked down:

What do you do with a drunken sailor, err-lie in the morning? You prop him up... blah blah....

We're also withholding a Monkey Prize this week, because there's no way we could justify awarding just one.

I used products from the woot-off, and an orange that is now history. What could be more on-topic than that?!?

How did the orange (historical figure) benefit from the woot-off products? Answer me that!

The router allows the orange to network with other produce, wirelessly.

The so-called camera is actually a bubble protecting the orange from the elements.

Supporting background images are for lesser folk. Plain white backgrounds rule!

I accept this answer.

But why would it be necessary for oranges to network with other produce? And what constitutes other produce?
