A box was inside the box. I opened the second box and reached in...

I felt bubble wrap...why would one need bubble wrap for a stuffed monkey, I thought.

I ripped through the bubble wrap while "it" was still in the box.

Did I feel something fuzzy and cute?










Definitely not!

So, I began to pull "it" out...









And here is our new monkey prize, folks...













I'm really hoping that if I smash "it" open on the back deck that there is a "real prize" inside. Perhaps some really good street drugs that they keep talking about.

Jason regularly promised to send the monkey prizes out to photochop 'winners', but didn't do so, for about 7 or 8 months (maybe 6 months). So, the 'winners' started a thread to complain about it.

I thought the original complaint was about Jason promising not to send any more monkeys, instead sending Anne Geddes calendars for the worst contest entry.

Woot used to have these toy monkeys that you could send flying across the room, and they would make jungle screaming noises when they landed. They used to put them in the bags of crap....I actually have one.
They were sending them out (supposedly) as the photoshop booby prize.

Woot ran out of Monkeys awhle back but they kept awarding monkey prizes every contest , after a few months of this people started complaining and demanding their monkeys Jason finally admitted they were out of monkeys but promised he would they would fix the situation. Jasons brainstorm"fart" came to light in photochop contest #55 Here is what he wrote

"Monkey Prize? NO!! We've been out of screaming monkeys for several weeks now. That is when this thread was started and the monkey revolution began, since then a few monkeys have shipped but they are a far cry from the lovable flying screaming monkeys that we were hoping for and a lot of monkey winners are still waiting for their monkeys.
BTW after 2 e-mails I never did recieve my CEC Calendar so I just said screw it I refuse to beg for an anne Geddes Calendar went on Ebay and bought myself a Flying Screaming Monkey and they are a lot of fun my poor cat hates me now I think ;-)
