CONTEST 37

 Jason Toon wrote:

And, just as there were many strong contenders for the prize money, you showed us a bumper crop of potential Monkey Prize winners. The absolute worst, though, has to be this nonsensical, hamfisted, off-topic entry

from the seemingly sane user AlienResearchGrpHome. We can only gaze on in open-mouthed wonderment and assume he/she was aiming for the Monkey Prize. If so, congratulations! If not, uh...keep plugging away!

CONTEST 38

And this week's Monkey Prize for "Lousiest Sense of Timing" goes to mccon104, who turned in a passel of worthwhile entries, but missed the contest deadline and was thus out of consideration. His Monochrome Rubik's Cube might have been in contention, had it been turned in on time. But it wasn't, so it wasn't.

And the Monkey Prize for "Photoshopping Above and Beyond the Call of Good Sense" goes to mccon104,

who painstakingly re-created the reflection of the dialogue onto the
surface of the tea kettle - good work, except that the orientation is
wrong. Say something in front of a tea kettle and watch the reflection
- you'll see what we mean.

Not a bad gag, AFX, but jeez, twelve syllables in the first line alone? Besides, we've never sold feminine sanitary napkins (yet). And "glutton"? You do know which end those maxis are supposed to go into, right?

hitokiri2040 - ?????

This is why Allah, most wise and merciful, created the monkey prize. We're simply in awe. The toy Santa Claus. The blurred face. The terrible parody of our beloved I WANT ONE button. And "3 Sexes"? Much respect, hitokiri2040. You're working on a level most Monkey Prizers can only dream of.

Get a load of Blingbot Boxpants here. Is he riding the locomotive? Did the train run into him and cause the derailment? Why is he cutting the phone? Who would love this creature enough to buy him fancy jewelry? So many questions - silence your chattering mind and just gaze in wonder at this bizarre meisterwerke.

you know, I didn't realize until now that they actually were sending monkeys out to people... i thought it was a prize in reference to the idea that a monkey could've made the winning entry...
