Nope. As mentioned, it's not really a lubricant and it will evaporate away or dry up or whatever. It will also attract dirt.

You need a lubricant designed for use on bikes.

If Swallowed: Do not induce vomiting.

I'm glad they clarified this in the description. I try to induce vomiting for everything I swallow.

Being plastic, I think these pens would be a little safer to toss in the fire than the metal cans.

edkron wrote:WD-40 is a crap teir lube. Pass.

yeah, absolutely. If it were a proper lube I'd use it. This is more for unfreezing your car door in winter.

Do NOT use this on bearings. It ruins skateboard bearings with the other crap that's in it.

These are really useful for cleaning up/greasing up Foosball table rods. For any of you enFOOSiasts out there, we used them all the time back at home where my table was and they worked wonders.

These are great! The caps were loose inside the package, but the juice won't flow until you press the tip. These are 1.50-2.00 in the hardware store. Only problem? No strong WD40 smell, these are useless as man-fume!

WD-40 can be used as a lubricant. What evaporates is a hydrocarbon mixture that is used to dilute the oil so it can be sprayed. The oil is left behind.

CAN and SHOULD are two different things. 3-in-1 oil is much better for bike chains, skateboards, etc than WD-40

Really - this stuff is great for unsticking things - like a rusted bike chain. But THEN lube with a real lubricant.

"No Mess" this is not true!

I purchased 2 dozen last time this was brought forth.

Issue: if the pen lays flat (cap on securely), fluid will be found on the surface of which the pen lays.

Resolution: Pen must be stored with cap up, not down or laying flat.
