You guys need to settle down about the shipping times. Jeeeez. Woot says products "TYPICALLY" ship within five business days. TYPICALLY is synonomous with USUALLY. MOST OF THE TIME but NOT ALL OF THE TIME. Read more carefully and pull out your dictionary and/or thesaurus.

Oh, and by the way, I purchased the AV-30 speakers. And yes I am anxiously awaiting them. I also realize\ that I only paid $60 for them. Sure, they are refurbished, but in my years I have NEVER purchased a refurbished item that wasn't like new.

So seriously CALM DOWN ALL YOU INTERNET WARRIORS GETTING ALL BUTT-HURT THAT YOUR AUDIO EQUIPMENT HASN'T SHIPPED YET!!!

Whether or not you think it's all butt-hurt, we, as customers, have the right to know if there is some sort of delay on our packages. They have already pulled the money out of our accounts, so we have the right to know what is going on with the product WE rightfully paid for.

Yes, the word typically is meant to be used as a connotation of 'usually does' or variation of, but when it is reaching the atypical shipment period, an explanation would be rather nice for us wooters.

We are UPSET cause its been OVER a week and there has been NO EMAIL sent that tells us WHERE and WHEN our packages will be DELIVERED. (see i can write in CAPS too, really shows how smart and mature I am). This is maybe my 7th product ordered from here, and never once have I waited this long for a freakin email. And I'm not asking for it to arrive today, all I'm asking is a simple message saying that my package is either en route or it is being delayed. Even if it is delayed, that's 100% fine with me, but please tell me at least. I did not expect to have my package today or yesterday, but I did expect an email because that is what has happened every single other time I have ordered from woot. In fact, this is really the only time woot has done something like this, which is a shame because I constantly praise them for their customer service and their reliability amongst online vendors. We are impatient because no one is telling us anything, which is incredibly frustrating and frankly we don't need you posting condescending remarks and making the situation more annoying than it is.

I also want to say that this in no way will prevent me from ordering off woot in the future. I am positive there is a good reason they have not sent any information, however I would like to know what the reason is. Like i said before, woot has really been top notch when it comes to things like this, and that is probably why so many people are upset. Not including this, I have never had a problem with Woot and this little speed bump is not enough to keep me away. I love woot and thats not going to change.

I strongly AGREE with you! My sister had much success with WOOT & I hope I will too in the future. This is my first time ordering from this company...Hopefully not the LAST! WOOT, Get it together with the communication PLEASE!! I think we deserve that. Thank You.

Really gentlemen, it's time to wear your 'big boy' underpants and stop the whining. Your stuff will TYPICALLY ship within five business days. We aren't awaiting an organ transplant here.

AND last I checked my tracking information was sent to FedEx within five business days.

Just wondering if this item has shipped for anyone else yet. Woot! says if the status hasn't changed to ship after 5 days, to check in the forums for discussion of delays.

It's been about 8 days and I have no indication that this has shipped (the money has, however, been charged to my credit card, which is a peeve of mine (to charge before the thing ships) but that is what it is...).

Anybody know what's up?

Yeah, any update on when this stuff is going to ship? If it's delayed, that's fine, stuff like that happens. Just figured they'd shoot an e-mail to us all or something

I still haven't received the keyboard, or even a notification that it has been shipped. Hopefully this will change Monday (10 days / 6 business days later)...

You girls act like Woot has committed a cardinal sin by not sending email notifications. You obvious are oblivious to Woot's business model. In addition it seems some of you have never read any of the humorous product descriptions. This is the way of the Woot. Grow a sack and man up Nancies!

From the sounds of it, you obviously need to get off your high horse, as well. From a consumer, AND business standpoint, I can understand that delays happen, as well as understand that customers can, and usually WILL become frustrated when a product hasn't shipped within it's typical shipment window.

The point is, customers would like to know when the product that they have actually PAID for, where the money has already transferred hands, will actually ship and/or arrive. I have dealt with my fair share of companies that would not notify you when there has been a delay on an item that you have ordered. At one point, thanks to such a poorly designed/operated business, I ordered a product from their website, only to not be notified that it had been backordered, and would not arrive for SIX MONTHS. They neglected to email me, let alone return my emails for an explanation of why my order had not shipped nor arrived. I even FOUGHT with them, to get a refund, which they would not approve. Finally, six months after the order had originally been placed, it shipped. Needless to say, I was extremely unhappy, and I thoroughly understand why these folks would be happy to know if their item shipped, or whether there has been a delay. It's just a common courtesy.

Just a quick note on mounting the microphone to the stand, as it baffled me at first, and can see others might having similar problems.

You will notice that the screw on the stand is much bigger than the swivel attachment that goes on the microphone. If you look closer, there is actually a screw in the swivel attachment that you can unscrew, at which point the stand will screw in nicely to it.

Not sure what that adapter screw is for to be honest, maybe someone else will let us know.

Nothing at all here.

Keyboard says its still in Texas and has been there for 5 4 days now with no movement. Originally last Saturday it said that it would arrive here today the 29th(well 30th now), yet when I check to see why, its still in Texas.

I'll cancel the order and go buy one locally. This was for my wife and she has already taken a few Garage Band classes.

The amount of money the keyboard isn't important, it was the fact it was promised within 5 days to ship and no, I do not think "shipping information sent" is shipped, its a cheap way to meet a policy when it then takes another 2 days for the product to actually make it to a Fed Ex depot....but then sits at that depot and never moves.

If there was a problem, should have been notified. In fact I believe there is some kind of guideline, either state or with the CC companies about charging for products and not shipping them within a certain time period.

I was a bit surprised that they dragged their feet shipping this time as well... I mean yeah, they had a wootoff, but that was a week after I ordered my goodies. Is this the curse of Amazon?

On a more related note, My packages arrived today. the waste of life who was the delivery man leaned my stuff against the door, making it impossible to open without toppling the packages down the front steps. thanks Jerkface.

Keyboard box was thoroughly trashed, looking like the throwers found a sliver of space in a truck somewhere, and then hammered the package into the slot until it fit. Keyboard works, no damage, no wear, so I'm not as pissed as I would have otherwise been.

Plugged the speakers in, and am currently running a mixture of musical types through them to test their range and sound quality. So far, Infected mushroom is sounding beyond otterific. Sinklar's Vista by Tyr opens with chanting, then goes metal... otterific dynamic range. Ratatat sounds otterific, and Blind guardian: Sacred worlds is blowing my mind all over again. Wish I would have bought a second set of these things... There's always nexttime right?

Try entering your order number as the 'reference number' at Fedex's website. You should see an individual tracking number for each of your items. Click the one for the vocal studio to see where it is. Mine is still stuck at Oregon, due to be delivered tomorrow.

I finally got my keyboard today after patiently waiting and found out that one of the keys isn't working. I know this is a "refurbished" item but is there anything I can do to fix/replace it? I know it seems small but I'd really like to be able to play all of the keyboard rather than all-1.

Absolutely there's something you can do! If you look at the original blog, you'll see this comes with a 1-year warranty from M-Audio. You should have some contact information in the package but if not, here's their website.

If you should need a receipt, there's a link to directions on printing one in my signature. Should you encounter any problems along the way, feel free to contact service@woot.com for assistance.

Well I got my vocal studio kit tuesday, a bit late but honestly but im just glad i got it.i bought a sansa 4GB on woot once before so i guess i knew what i was in for.

didnt except refurb. but the mic was pretty much plug and play with my XP laptop. the microphone has a certain weight and look to it, very "professional-like", it worked and picked up audio. at first i thought the audio levels it picked up were low, but you just have to speak loud and clear into the mic. :D

using cool edit to record, havent opened the protools CD so maybe i can sell to someone who needs it...

or perhaps use it should i find cool edit unacceptable for mixing...

one note, this thing desperately needs a pop filter. would it be that hard to pack in one of those in these types kits? since its supposed to be beginner friendly and all...

and in all. satisfied

anyone have any issues with the ProTools Essential software disk? My drive won't recognize the DVD Installation Disk. Pretty bummed about it. I submitted a help ticket to the Avid website, but haven't heard back
