I really can't see an application for this. What wireless device would you send pictures to?

Read the description! These things do exactly what they claim. The huge disappointment for me was the fact that you can only transfer pictures via a pre-defined network. You cannot just send pictures from your camera to your WiFi equipped laptop. No hotspot, no transfer.

The slightly less huge disappointment was the SLOW transfer speed. It's really slow.

Other than that, exactly as advertised.

thinking about buying just so we can get to the next Woot

I read up on these a bunch when they last showed up here. I want one, but my camera has a micro SD card. I don't know if the micro SD cards are even big enough to fit the wireless transmitter and all onto.

And a woot off?!? Really? That blows. Last night I bought a Sansa Clip for FORTY DOLLARS from Amazon for my daughter's birthday. I bought one from Woot on the last woot-off and Woot farking canceled my order and said they oversold it! (I didn't want to buy the Fuze that Woot had last night since I don't want to deal with her whinging non-stop for the rest of my life about how she needs more iCarly episodes or whatever on her mp3 player.) I would be surprised if woot doesn't sell another clip on the woot-off. And I've just spent THREE TIMESS as much buying one from Amazon. That sucks.

argh and I just spent my $5 coupon on the Sansa from yesterday... literally at 11:55 pm.

Oh well... lets see what the day will bring. Wonder if I'll actually get to see the Baggie of Cthulhu much less try to get it. Missed SEEING it by 5 minutes last time.
