Only Baggie of Cthulhu in my area code woooooooooooooo!
Wow, still no info for me (or anything in my zip code) on fedex.
bsmith1 wrote:Ah, there's a refurb Sansa on woot today. That explains why they're waiting until Monday to ship our crap. Leftovers, anyone? (I hope)
I bought the 8 gig last week. I suppose if I got one of the 4 gigs in my battalion of corn chips, I could gift it or sell it to someone.
.
Wow - two getting carps in 93422 - population is less than 30,000. Who else is getting crap in atascadero CA? If you're on here, we should have an opening party... =) Edit 1 in Paso, 1 in Santa Margarita, and 1 in Lompoc too... Anybody here???
I'm the only one in my Zip code who got one. I just want it to ship. This was my VERY FIRST ONE after years of trying. I'm so excited.

I too don't have one yet...
:-(

They're all in English classes, learning not to end sentences with prepositions.
3 total in 80020. Good for Broomfield!

How accurate is the spreadsheet. I'm not even listed.

You have to sign up for it. Sorry - but this is my first time trying it out, so I don't know how accurate it is. I figured what do i have to lose by putting my info in. Maybe the person who put it together might "chime" in. OK is it just me, or is Woot.com having hiccups right now. I have got the server error several times.
You have to add yourself...click the link that is in the upper right corner of the page.

I'm one of 2 in my zip code (10301) in Staten Island, NY...plus one more in SI. So who are my fellow staten islanders?

Harvard freshman, a Southerner: "Excuse me, can you tell me where the library is at?' Harvard upperclassman: "Excuse me, but this is Hah-vahd, and around here we do not end our sentences with prepositions." Freshman: "Oh - then can you tell me where the library is at, a@@#*!& ?"
Scary thing is in the several previous Baggie of Cthulhu's over the past few years I've never gotten one. I've seen people in the past get boatloads of them. 10/9/05 Was my very first purchase on woot. So maybe I'll get lucky and get my Baggie of Cthulhu on the 9th to celebrate my 5th year of purchase wootiversary.

"A preposition is something one should never end a sentence with."

Yikes! That is scary! ;)
2 in my zip 2 others in same town (Lubbock)
I'm the only one from my zipcode! But then I live way out in the boonies so maybe the neighbors were milking the cows or something when theses came up. And this is my 3rd time and I've never received a Sansa either (that's OK...already have 3 of them...but who couldn't use a few extra?)
rhmurphy wrote:I'm getting the 1 lb, no dimensions placeholder. So as Threepiecewoot says it's still on the dock at Woot. Apparently there's three folks in my ZIP code that won BoCs this time. (Track using the Woot invoice number and zip to find out how many others in your region are waiting as well. You find out the Woot invoice number - which is WT10186A-1 - using your order number first as a reference.)
exactly how do i do this??
Hmm, I can even see order numbers for other Baggie of Cthulhu awaiting wooters at my zip code. Something doesn't seem right here? Worse part is his order number is a prime number. Lucky bastard
meatball4415 wrote:exactly how do i do this??
I too am perplexed. I understand how to find my own tracking number (I too see the 1-lb placeholder, yay and stuff), but how do I see who else in a particular zip code is receiving one?

Went looking back and found this tip, but I still don't quite understand what to do with the info. I have the invoice number (WT1...), but where do I go and what do I do to search zip codes with this? Anyone? Bueller?
nymetsfan1226 wrote:I'm one of 2 in my zip code (10301) in Staten Island, NY...plus one more in SI. So who are my fellow staten islanders?
Well, I'm that "one more" (I just didn't mention what city I'm in)... And I know there's another avid wooter in same zip code as myself, but since only one package is heading this way now, I'm afraid he was left crapless this time...
1) Go here 2) Leave the "Account no" field blank. 3) Paste WT10186A-1 into the "Enter reference" box. (this is the common invoice # we all share that was obtained by doing a track on a individual order # first) 4) Keep today's date as the "Ship date". 5) Choose "United States" from the "Destination country" drop-down. 6) Enter your mailing zip code in the "Destinaion postal code" field. 7) Click the "Track" button. Boom. Done. EDIT: Want to know your neighboring zips? Try dis map, yo.
bigray57 wrote:OK, I checked and there is one other person in my 'hood getting the Basket of Cheer. Who's in 11783 (Long Island, NY)???
Not that zip, but another LI here! ..only one in my zipcode though. Hmmm maybe I should check the surrounding ones
1 other one listed in my zip code. When they said it wouldn't ship till Monday I was disappointed, but now I'm hoping I forget to check back after the weekend and can be surprised with what crap I get and when I get it.
butkus wrote:2 in my zip 2 others in same town (Lubbock)
I am one of your fellow Lubbock wooters. 79416.
Still haven't gotten anything from Woot about my shipment. Receipt page looks the same as it did the day I ordered. But searched the Fedex site and found 2 coming to 29803. Hoping one is mine!

haha, good one... good luck!
Thanks for the Fed-Ex primer,LEM. I found my place holder for my very first Baggie of Cthulhu.

If you do the same procedure as with finding out ALL shipments to your zip code, but insert your Woot order number (from receipt page) into the big reference number box, you'll see your very own shipment instead of all to your zip code. That trick and much more is listed in my FedEx SmartPost primer that I posted a few pages back, and will post again when actual shipping will begin taking place.

You're welcome, and best of luck with your haul!

Yea, thats me--I didn't think there were any other wooters in this area.. off of wilson point?

Holy crap, thank you. Between you and LEM, I <3 you both. It worked perfectly. Looks like I am indeed the only one in my entire city, and any town nearby. Of course, when I checked my former college town, there were four going there. Ahh, my alma mater... Purdue represent! Also, love the screenshots, and very handy link to the zip code map. I never knew what my zip code's area looks like. Very nice.

You. Are. otterific. I saw the primer listed when I was browsing, but then couldn't find it again when I was attempting to figure this out. Forgive my Baggie of Cthulhu ignorance... it's the excitement! Thanks!

Wow! I can't believe that the infamous LEM and I are from the same home town! Moved from Staten Island many years ago. But sometimes when the wind is just right, I can still smell Fresh Kills in the morning... ah, good times.
