I haven't checked anything since page 47 because that is when people started posting the crap they got. But what is still interesting is my dimensions are showing up (18 in. x 12.6 in. x 12.25 in.), but I'm still showing 1 lb. Meh. The only other interesting thing is that I couldn't ever reverse look-up by the WT10186A-1 reference number, but my current PO shows as WT10186A-1 RANDOM CRAP. Does anyone else have this special PO? I still can't look up and see my shipment to my ZIP code unless I used this specific PO

Mine departed Kansas City over 12 hours ago headed to the far south suburbs of Chicago. I can't wait and am checking updates all the time. By the way does anybody think anything real good can weight 5.7 pounds?

Here's hoping; mine's 5.6 lbs. And oddly, I'm in Chicago and mine's coming from New Berlin, WI and isn't supposed to show up until the 12th

Mine left New Berlin, WI yesterday night. I figure it will get to Indy tonight, handed off to USPS tomorrow, and I'll get it Saturday. If it takes longer, due to Columbus Day I won't get it until Tuesday. Now that I see everyone is getting calendars and gym bags, the wait isn't bothering me as much anymore.

I know! Waiting until next week is annoying! And I'm going to be in Wisconsin this weekend, so my Baggie of Cthulhu and I will be probably be passing each other like ships in the night. :P
At least at this weight, I'm kind of hoping there is at most one calendar and some random fun stuff. Since it's my first, I'm really just happy about getting one!

I'm also a 5.6 pounder. Mine's supposed to show up the day after that, so I'll make sure not to check the forum next week. The 'calendar to other stuff' ratio is staggering. Mathematically, it does not bode well for us light weights.

Or it could be a 5.6 pound iguana!

Mine appears to have something alive inside. Between TX and Atlanta, it gained .1 lb, to 10.7 lbs., and morphed from a 15.3" cube to 24.5 in. x 12.9 in. x 12.3 in. Still says delivery on the 13th, but last time it said that, it arrived on my doorstep two days later. That would be Saturday, and Smartpost works on Saturday. Come ON, Atlanta!

Mine has update and made it to Atlanta so hopefully I'll get it tomorrow not the 12th as previously expected. 26x12x12 and down to 10.5 lbs. Some Fedex guy needed a calendar I guess

Got mine today:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Qty 6 - 2010 "Jumble Calendar Game" Desktop Calendar

Qty 4 - Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea 3D Jigsaw Puzzle

Qty 3 - Gold's Gym Fitness Tote

Qty 1 - Coby TF-DVD5010 portable DVD Player (Bad LCD)

Qty 1 - Kid's Woot "!" shirt - Size 12

Qty 1 - Superfly Screaming Woot Monkey with leopard spots

A little surprised that a product with the distinguished brand of "Coby" would be defective, but them's the breaks. Love the shirt for my kid.

The monkey didn't get along with the glowing triplets at my house, so I brought him to work. I can see why nobody adopted him, though. Evidently, he's feral.

Since it was likey refoobared, it's probably a good part and a bad connection. If you are solderly adept, you might can get it working....and could be worth the effort considering there's no real loss if you break it further.

Already disassembling this. This thing has clearly been operated on before, as multiple screws have telltale signs of being removed.

The box also has a price tag indicating a price or $179.99, and has this mysterious note written in ink on the front of it:

PAYLESS

Anybody care to decipher?

6 jumble desk top calenders
1 screaming monkey
1 kids size shirt (my son will love)
3 gym totes
1 sci-fi blue ray starring David Hasselhoff
1 17 hour book on cd (14 discs!)

Anyone interested in a 'best selling' novel on cd that sounds like the most riveting story of 2 BFF's?
Other than that I am very happy with my Baggie of Cthulhu!

kburnam wrote:Overall not bad. But 2010 calendars, seriously? I know it's a bag of "crap", but w/ 3 months left in 2010 those are literally worthless.

Wrap them up and give them as Xmas presents to those you deem worthy of such a gift. They'll still be valid ... for about a week. [evil grin]

My $3 (after using the coupon code) 'Bundle Of Calendars' just hit Atlanta on it's way to Middle TN. The dimensions went from the default cube to 24.4 x 13.4 x 12.5 inches and the weight increased from 15.4 to 15.7 pounds (likely through osmosis).

While scheduled to arrive 10/12/2010, I have faith in USPS to (yet again) screw up the delivery date. If a shipping company were to deliver it by air mail by dropping it from a jet while fly over the house, I doubt that the package would suffer more than the damage normally inflicted by the local postal carrier.

Note to Woot shipping department:

Please NEVER EVER place the word "fragile" on the outside of the shipping box as that only encourages them to abuse the package more. Should you affix a handwritten label (or preferably scribble in crayon on the box itself) 'Box of Crap' on the outside of the package, I suspect they would handle it with a great deal of care as 'crap' reflects the level of service they provide and must be revered.

Still due the 14th.

Just 2 links before it's here. It will be on to Orlando, then down here in West Palm Beach.

I live in the Tampa Bay area and I can never tell where FedEx is going to ship my Woot's package after it leaves Orlando. Sometimes they send it to Jacksonville then back to Orlando before heading this way. Sometimes it leaves Orlando then goes back to Orlando the next day. I assume they give the drivers random drug tests, don't they? They lost my Woot off lights completely and Woot is out of them.
