6 - Jumble 2010 calendars
1 - Diamond TV Wonder 600 PCIe (no instructions or CD)
1 - Leopard-print Screaming Monkey (working LOUDLY!)
1 - aluminum coffee thermos (BAD written on the box - and I agree, lid and pouring spout doesn't fit together right)
1 - Xlogic VD628 Camera Tripod
1 - Cobra XRS 9840 Refurbished (works!!)
2 - random and empty jewel cases
3 - Gold's Gym bags

All in all an utterly fantastic 1st Box of Carrots!!

weight & dimensions:
14.7 lbs / 6.7 kgs
24.7 in. x 13 in. x 12.5 in.

I was happy to see the tripod at first, but with the TV tuner card, and radar detector, that's just spectacular.

Mine is also sitting next to yours in Sacto awaiting its ride to San Francisco. It arrived there at 1 AM yesterday. I wonder if there's any chance it could be here today.

Mine said delivered too. And when the mailman got here he was about to drive off thinking he delivered all the mail. I asked him to look and sure enough it was sitting in the back of his mail truck. That's probably what happened to yours.

I did it! I managed to stay away from the forums long enough for my Bird Over Capistrano to arrive! It was a straight up 11 pounder.

Here's the rundown:

6 2010 Jumble calendars

1 kids "carnivorous rabbit" t-shirt

1 Seagate FreeAgent DockStar network adapter

1 Intelli Ufo remote controlled cat terrorizing mechanism

1 Ati Tv Wonder card with 3 installation CDs

3 Golds Gym Fitness Totes And.....

1 Superfly Monkey with a Leopard Skin cape.

Thanks Woot! I love all my crap.

I do have a humble request to the Woot Gods, however. Is there any way you guys could start shipping BOCs in plain boxes? Mine arrive in wicked rough shape. Like someone else's package was within my package kinda shape. I actually received a package meant for someone else in my town INSIDE my Random Crap. Heck, here's a very short video showing the condition of the box.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eRNcantazk

I love my crap & am not complaining, but I'll never know if some knucklehead made off with a GPS or digital camera or something that was meant for me.

Thanks again, Woot!

I think that if Woot had to engineer better packaging design for BoC's, then most BoCs would have to be be much less unique...would kind of ruin some of the fun of it. BoC is all about the fun of surprise and serendipity, for better or for worse!

Oh, I fully agree about the fun & surprise element and the serendipity, but if the boxes were just plain, perhaps they would arrive intact more reliably. Just a thought, I'm not crying over spilled crap.

Picked mine up from the post office today. Similar haul to everyone else.

8.7 lbs
24x12x12

6x Jumble 2010 Calendar
3x Gold's Gym Totes
1x Blue Camo Flying Woot Monkey
1x Size K8 Cupcakeosaurus Shirt
1x Groovy interlocking plate and bowl set

Turns out I really like the shirt. Makes me wish either 1) I was 8 years old or 2) I had bought one before it was reckoned. The monkey is otterific. I've been a wooter for 3+ years and this is my first woot monkey, so I view it as a rite of passage. I'll probably use the totes at some point and the calendars will get passed off to people who like newspaper puzzles. I'm not quite sure what to do with the plate set thing. Looks like it would be good for a single helping of veggies and dip or something like that.

Overall probably the most useful Bobcat On Campus I've gotten so far. Looking forward to number 5 at some point.

It's here! It's here! But....

I saw it had been delivered to the P.O., but I couldn't stand the thought of my poor baggie sitting all night in a warehouse again. I took off and asked the clerk if I could have my box. Nice thing about small towns, the clerk was a friend of mine, so he was able to scan it without having to sort. End result, my crap is now mine.

And the contents of my 30 lb box of manure?

1 x Ab Circle (refurb)
0 x TX air
0 x monkeys, flying or otherwise
0 x bags
0 x calendars

On one hand, I'm delighted! I need a workout machine to help the middle aged spread. Not to mention it retails for $200 new. On the other hand, though, I thought there would be more crap. I am, in a word, confused.

Woot gods, please send me a sign.

Here's what was in my 12.4 pounder:

3 gold's gym totes
6 jumble calendars
1 screeching/skyrocketing monkey
1 blue kids size 8 shirt with Nessie
1 VuPoint magic wand scanner (refurb)
1 Panasonic Link-to-cell bluetooth convergence solution with 2 handsets (opened box)

I haven't tested either of the last 2 yet, but the monkey does fly and screech (it was smaller than I expected). Might try to sell the last one if it works.

All in all, a good haul.

Depending on how adventurous you're feeling, if you send woot an email they'll stick by their "three things and a bag" philosophy and send you ANOTHER Basket of Carburetors. Do so at your own risk, though . . . Cthulhu only knows what's still lying around . . .
