I've got a question, hopefully someone still reads this that has one, but when I connect it to my stereo in my car, it says no file. Instead of dropping the mp3 files directly in the audio folder, do i need to create a folder and put them in it? And if that doesn't work, would Rockbox solve all my ills?

FYI for anyone still reading this thread. I ordered two of these units and was having trouble syncing with two different computers. Got my undies in a bunch big time. Turns out, the cable from the first unit I opened was defective. Both Sansas work fine with the other cable. Like I said, just FYI. Can't imagine too many of you having the same problem.
Glad I ordered two

Got it. Played with it a bit. I can't see why anyone would by an overprices iPod instead. I've already got my 16GB SDHC card in the mail.

Well, it seems that I'm the only one with a problem with the Fuze. It's frozen on a "Refreshing Your Media" screen. i can turn it off, but it does the exact same thing when I turn it back on. No computer in my house can recognize the device is attached so I can't reset it to factory settings.

Any help?

Maybe it just doesn't like the music you put on it. I hear Kesha wreaks havoc on mp3 players. Try troubleshooting your Sansa with their support page. If that doesn't work send us an email at service@woot.com and we'll help you out.

I have purchased a few of these on Woot! This is the second one in a row to just STOP WORKING after a 2 or 3 months. FRUSTRATING!

I'm done buying WOOT! refurbished items. Fin.

So I was in love with this MP3 player... until it refused to sync with my computer. I've tried two different computers and although the MP3 player receives powers and "thinks" it is connected, the computers say the USB device isn't recognized. Took a stroll over to Sandisk's website and this was their awesome troubling shooting solution:

If you receive the error "USB Device Not Recognized" on the computer, the player is most likely failed. Additional troubleshooting is unlikely to correct the problem.

Thanks, guys. So now I have an MP3 player that can (thankfully) still charge and play the radio plus what crap music I have stuck on it, but I can't put anything new on the thing.
I might try replacing the cable, but I doubt it will fix the issue, since the MP3 still gets power from the current one.
How unlucky.
