300 for a refurb seems a bit steep.

Why would you ever buy 720p for a 32"?

cooperro1

quality posts: 0 Private Messages cooperro1

Extremely dissatisfied with Philips TV quality. I bought a 32" refurb a year ago for my bonus room. I only got 10 uses out of it before it quit. The reviews are all showing similar experiences with the boards copping out..you wonder why you see so many "refurbished" for sale...its because they keep recycling the same junk. For price and quality, look at a Vizio or drop a few bucks more for a Samsung. It will save you more in the long run because LCD repairs are too expensive when replacements are between $300-400 price points.

When Available you can buy a new one from walmart for $48 more. It's not available right now, but probably worth the $50 for a new one as opposed to a refurb.

I want to buy a TV for cheap... That's what I'm looking for right now...but not a refurb... for this much.

Why not?!?!?! You can't really appreciate 1080i from across the room on a 32". And 720p is progressive, so until as 1080p content is available from a cable provider stick with 720p for small sets.

I wouldn't buy anything from TechforLess ever again.

While I did buy a MFC-790cw all in one printer from them for $45, it wasn't refurbished. It was dirty and was obviously a return not a refurb. It came with used ink cartridges that didn't work. They sent out replacement cartridges and they were used and didn't work.

BTW, their refurbed MFC-790cws now sell for $115.

Got my Sanyo 37" 1080p back in August for $350.

People need to start realizing that having a 32" flat screen isnt what it used to be.

How about at least faking that its a good tv so we can get these thangs sold :0

for instance.

If you bought 3 you could put them side by side with the dvd players and create a 3d eye effect

No, it's the way it will come shipped as a refurb ... cracked LCD.

All that green stuff is eco-friendly though.

Holding out for a BF deal here as well for a better deal new.

I think it's a good price, but what do I know. I paid the same for my 27" non-flat screen almost a decade ago.
