This blender has more horsepower than a Toyota Prius and less recalls.

Refurbished blender? Who knows what the last guy blended. No Blendtec, no deal.

According to Alton Brown, square based blenders are best, they create a better vortex.

Leaks out of the bottom seal under the blades.

My GF wants a new blender for making smoothies (juice, fruit, ice). how is this with ice? The one we have now leaves giant chunks in the mix.

How often did you use the "Smoothie" control and can I assume from what you're saying that once it goes out, there's nothing you can do about it?

I've had one for three years the only leak I had was when I didn't tighten the blades enough.

Yes but down $20 is a 25% reduction. I bought two, so my savings totalled $40, not bad at all.

Got mine. First item I've received from Woot that was sold as r3furbished that actually looks r3furbished. The stainless steel skirt on the pitcher is all scratched up, and what looks like verdigris or cement of some kind is encrusted around the top and bottom edges of the skirt. Also, the skirt is a different "shade" of stainless than that on the base. Works good, but looks like a55.

First, I received a r3furbished 4Tb external drive a couple weeks ago that was sold as new, and now this. Raise your hand if you actually believed Woot wouldn't change for the worse after they got bought.
