Sold on another site for $199
To clarify, the above price is in Canadian dollars, which equals ~$193.00 USD.

The User Manual (!)

The user manual is actually a great read if you are wanting to learn about the product. It is manufactured by Curtis - Igloo has the name on it for branding purposes only. The Manufacturer's Homepage is very sparse in regards to the product outside of the above-linked user manual.

The woot off model for 89.99 seems better made.

So...this is the product you need when you have water and electricity, but not a fridge or grocery store? My head hurts.

I'd much prefer an ice *cream* maker.

Hmmmm...ice bullets? If I knew it was so easy to make these, I would've saved myself a lot of time.

Dorm rooms is one place I can think of.

OH! A break room is the best place for this.

Brother probably paid more for his than this one is selling for. Models like this consistently sell for 140-175, depending on the finish.

Not too many to count, but dang. This place has a way of building a cellar for you.

That's Canadian dollars. They only sell them in SW Canada.

I can only find it on Canadian sites...like they need more ice up there.

Have a portable ice maker for at home, great for parties. I bought mine from woot didn't know it came with a $25 return fee when it stopped working (the great part of the woot warentee). You are better off buying it at a store for about $130 and being able to return it if it buttafuocos during the first year at no cost.

Hmmm my refrigerator already has an ice maker?? Well I guess some people still have ice trays.

A friend of mine told me that it's smart to buy the ice-maker and fridge/freezer separate. That way, if the fridge breaks down, you still have ice to make some iced tea.

This is an ideal Mole Day gift. That's right, I said Mole Day. Why? Because today, 10/23, is Mole Day. Also, because an average ice cube is about 1.2 tablespoons of water, which just happens to be about 18 mL, or one mole.

Happy Mole Day, everyone.

Actually, 3.1 liters of water would be 6.82 pounds.

1 liter of water is 2.2 lbs.

edit: based on the posted specs, this should be able to make three full baskets of ice with one fill of the reservoir.
