I may just buy a few of these and take them to the local old folks home. They are usually pretty paranoid. I could probably get $10 a piece for them.

Probably mentioned upthread, but anyone who buys these should know that the cover for the seatbelt cutter is damn near impossible to get off. First thing to do when these get delivered is to slightly file down the nubs that hold it in place.

oh come on, i did a whole insanity workout including shake and we are still on this thing, i even bought the damn things an hour ago to move it along ::sigh!::

Some people seem to think they know, but I don't know where they get their numbers from. Kind of annoying on these long woot off items to not know how many are left.

as a police officer we carry the hammer version of this in our cars and i have been to a call where someone had to use one of these things to break there window to get out cause there car caught fire and door got stuck. is your life or your loved ones life not worth 10 bucks?

then again this is one of those items that in 5 years you can look at and say "i still havent used this thing" and be happy about that.

I have the crappy hammer version in my car. I bought it at least 10 years ago and it keeps getting put into whatever car I get. My husband tried to throw it away on me and I said no. I may need it someday.

When I imagine computers that load games very slowly, I imagine a fisher price label on the side and a little toy crank on the other side for power. Makes the time I wait for other people to finish loading a game more entertaining.

And I take back my comment about the whistle. If you cover the two whistle openings completely when blowing into the whistle, it's fairly piercing.
