They do it a lot, just for fun. It's an automatic thing.

I bought one previously off Woot which now collects dust. The digital interface is super clunky. Glorified whiteboard.

I bought one of these a few months ago, and I love it. It is nice to have a digital frame on the fridge and we are always using the whiteboard part of it to list what groceries we need. Now we have to see if it will be able to be moved to our new Refrigerator that is being delivered on Saturday.
