On the Kids Woot-Off! they had a DVD game of Million Dollar Password game and it cost $0.01 (yes 1 penny each) and $5 for shipping.
So you buy 3 and give them away if you feel its worth buying with the added shipping cost factored in.

Also I had the coupon code for $5 and got the shipping essentially free, my credit card was charged $0.03 in total.

They don't rethink anything - $5 shipping regardless of whether a coffee mug or a 32" flat-screen panel.

I'd buy a $.099 mug if not for the $5 shipping too. I guess you either really want the mug, or you are buying a whole set.

These kind of oddball products were the life-blood of woot-offs in the beginning.

You'd get some really cool stuff, some esotoric but still cool stuff, and then you'd get the reeeeeally weird stuff that made you go, "Duuuuuuuuuuude! Whyyyyyyy?"

I did as well. Cheap mugs are always nice to keep around considering how many of mine get broken in a year. I could care less what is on them, but I guess, much like woot, I enjoy really bad puns as well.
