According to FedEx, the Bituminous Ol' Coal arrived in my city 6 days ago and has been "out for delivery" ever since. Do you think this is cause for concern? Not just general concern, but "you should consider emailing someone knowledgeable who can tell you reassuring words" concern?

I am feeling like the only person not to get my booty of coal. I so much look forward to the wig/purse/cattoy, and the leap frogs (for real) and the cover that fits nothing i have, and the real deal texas air.

and of course I look forward to "the letter"

Sounds like you need to contact the post office. They're the ones who do the actual delivery. Put your tracking number into usps.com and check there. If it's been "out for delivery" for 6 days it's lost somewhere.

Basically, same items as everyone else. I got the pink variety of the purse/handbag thingamabob.

All in all I can't complain (cause of the rules), but all of my Bag of Coal items are going to make excellent White Elephant gifts tonight at our Christmas Party.

Scored my second Big ol' Cornucopia during the Wootoff on 12/1/10.

My Penguin ornament was used as a gift at my wife's work Christmas party. Someone actually took it away from the person who originally opened it! The bag is too hideous to use even as something like that. I can't come up with anything I can use it for. I know my granddaughter (10) would give me "the look" if I even suggested she take it. I'm amazed somebody would actually manufacture something like that. Even more amazing is that there must be a market for them somewhere......

My Bag of Coal was exactly like yours. Thanks for saving me from having to upload the picture. I have to share, though, that even my 2-1/2 granddaughter did not love the pink purse. One of the leak frogs is already on sentry duty under our kitchen sink and if I find time this week I hope to upload pictures from Christmases past to the digital ornament.
Thanks, Woot and Merry Christmas fellow Wooters!

O M G woot killed a Peacock and put it in my Box of Cheerios!!! Oh wait... it's a green feathery and sequined purse... whew... I wasn't sure who I was going to give the dead peacock to for Christmas... but since it's really a purse I can probably find some sucker... I mean special person.

Also got Sony digital reader case, snowman picture ornament, Vu-Me picture ornament, and 2 leak frogs (a week AFTER my hot water tank dumped its entire contents in my newly renovated basement).

No air, no letter, no fair

According to the most recent quality post, it looks like it is very likely that the letter recipient still has more on the way. There is still some entertainment to be had with this Bag of Coal.

By the way, my wife's crap arrived, 1 ugly white purse, 2 tiny lights, 1 universal gps charger, and 1 penguin digital photo ornament. She really like the penguin ornament, I was hoping she would get one. Thanks woot!

That does look cool. The giving and receiving of presents constitutes the love. The actual contents are the value. So if you give/receive a present in 3 separate packages, on 3 separate days, there's 3 times the love! Or so Santa would say...

In past Batraquomancy Of Chordee events, it seems to me there have been 3 levels of winners: 1st prizes, aka POCs, 2nd prizes, all in the first box, but with more and/or nicer items - e.g. Sansas, cameras, etc. and then 3rd prizes - "standard" baggies.

I don't recall seeing any 2nd prizes this time around.

Also, if Woot gives out a POC, but no one comes forward to say he got the letter and goodies, is there any reason that someone from Woot couldn't let us know what the goodies are? Since they wouldn't be naming the recipient, no one's privacy would be invaded, and I think most of us would love to know.

Ok good news is that my Bundle of Coats has finally showed up on the post office's radar!! It was supposed to be here on the 17th but it's new ETA is the 23rd. Bad news is I was hoping to open it on my bday but it will be one day late.. However it might be a good thing since I'll be out celebrating and might not be home when it would be delivered anyway. I can't wait!! I am hoping for one of those ornaments because our gift exchange this year is "christmas/holiday" gift themed and that would be perfect for someone! woot!

First off, I doubt that's the end of your shipments...that's what most letter winners original bag is like, so I'd be prepared for more.

Second, could you please take a close up shot of the woot tape and post that? I'm curious as to what it looks like (I just want everything/anything with the woot! logo on it).

Thanks!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY Bag of Coal!!! THANK YOU W00T!

1 Penguin Ornament - I wanted this so much! LOL

1 Red Picture This Ornament - Now I have to buy a Christmas tree

1 Sony E-Reader Cover - Could use this to store some papers or the Constitution.

2 T1 Series Tech Lights - click on/click off - too cool

1 Beautiful purse. I was so surprised. Draw string navy blue velvet upside down cap shaped. (At first I thought it was a cap). On top are flaps. These flaps have navy irridescent beads sewn on to look like three iris flowers. I would not be embarrassed to use it.

Got the standard red digital picture ornament, 2 leak frogs, purse, sony digital bookcover and mini photo keychain.

Already sold the leak frogs for $14 a piece and the picture ornament for $18.

I see THAT as the real value of this Bag of Coal.

My wife opened her Bag of Coal today; I stayed away from the forum so it'd be a surprise.

No letter
Hideous sequined shaggy purse, silver/grey
Sony Reader cover
2 leakfrogs
Gold "Picture This" ornament
Snowman picture ornament

Thanks, Woot! The reader cover is going to Goodwill but everything else is good to go! Ornaments on the tree, leakfrogs installed in strategic locations, and the hideous purse is now part of a costume collection for our niece.

Its especially nice because I missed out on the leakfrogs during the woot-off and I really wanted some.

Look upon my Avatar, ye whiny, and despair!

Same score as you McGurk (friend was musing with one frog) on my first Badge of Courage.

Gave Leak Frogs to friend whose new house's basement has a leak. Had rest in breakroom at work as a silent auction for local charity -- no minimum, but alas no bids. Will see if Salvation Army would like it.

Got around to opening my Bag of Coal. Yes I saved it for christmas. Now that's will power.
I didn't get anything you all haven't heard of yet though.
2 Picture Frame Christmas ornaments (of which will probably be dismantled and somehow turned into beer tappers with screens on them to display homebrew beers)
2 Little LED lights
1 Extravagant pink purse
1 E-book reader cover

I got a Christmas Day Bag of Coal coming as well. Thankfully I wont have to use any will power and not open that one for weeks. I'm going to tear right into that sucker the day it shows up.

I got pretty much the exact same thing.

My youngest niece loves the purse even though the comment made around the room was wow, a hooker purse ;) I think she uses the pruse as most young girls would, to haul her barbies around.

The Xmas ornament works great and is on my sisters tree and my older niece wanted that keychain. My sister has a Sony ebook so the cover is being used and I really needed the leak frogs for my basement.

All in all a pretty decent Bag of Coal.
