Not impressed by the price. These are exactly the sort of things being sold for $4-5 each as "stocking stuffers" at Home Depot (you pay tax, but no shipping).

Just picked up a 23pc 1/4" Drive set. Not bad. Don't need anything fancy schmancy since I'll rarely use it.

Does anyone know the quality of the various metal bits? I bought a cheap screwdriver set once and if you need to really tighten a screw, once you're done the metal on the head (particularly phillip's) is all jacked up.

Most of these "items" probably won't be worth the postage, but that palm ratcheting screwdriver is actually surprisingly helpful. I don't own this particular item, so I can't comment on quality, but the general tool design is more useful than you might think.

i want to buy one of each to help rebuild baltimore.

any wooters have opinions as to which set would be most useful for taking apart my old roadbike/ I don't suppose any will handle all the different-sized allen sockets, nuts, and whatnot to adjust, but maybe one would be more useful than the rest?

These sets are GREAT! I have seen them at Big Lots for 5 to 10 a piece and considered them. I am in for three different ones!!!!!!!

I just got the 23pc drive, 52 piece ratcheting screwdriver and the 60 piece multi tool. I'll debate after I see them if I give them as Christmas gifts or keep them for myself.

There are so many options! It's so difficult to choose!

I suggest for those of you with the same issue, use eenie, meenie, miney, moe.

These are worth it even if they don't last too long - I will put a set on each floor of the house for little jobs like tightening doorknobs, putting together flat-pack furniture, etc. Honestly, I have had times I would have paid a $20 not to have to walk down two flights of stairs to the "real" tools in the basement just because I needed a standard instead of a phillips head.

The quality is only so-so. My set lasted about a year of use before getting too screwed up (forgive the bad pun).

I carry something similar to the mini T handle when I ride, but unless it stores the bit inside the handle, you're begging to stab yourself at some point.
