Is the SD card a class 2?

This is exactly the kind of cord you'll want if you plan on getting a Motorola Xoom, in for one!

Man, I *just* ordered one of these cables off of eBay a couple days ago. It was about the same price shipped, and didn't come with the SD card.

I didn't even know they made memory cards that small and slow.

4GB SD cards that aren't SDHC are pretty uncommon. Is it a SD card, or an SDHC card?

I'd love if it was a SD card because it would work with Rock Band 2 for Wii.

They should have paired that cable with a micro-SD instead of a regular sized SD card.. This would be good for my evo

That cord reminds me of the cord on my razer naga, and I love that rather then just the cheap black finish thats on most wires. Unless thats something else, can't really tell from the picture.

As JackJD posted below, the Evo uses Micro HDMI so not sure if this Woot would work.

Why sooo many HDMIs, have already bought twice! I've seen them being sold every other day. This one is pretty proprietary, eh? Wondering how many people own camcorders with mini HDMIs.

It only has a maximum write speed, which really doesn't mean anything at the end of the day. The minimum write speed is what really matters. You'll rarely ever see that maximum speed, and certainly not when it matters, such as taking pictures.

In short, assume it's the slowest POS SD Card and call it free with the cable.

You are exactly right. Droid X and HTC Evo use the Micro HDMI(Type D) cord, not a Mini(Type C).

This cord works great with the new EVO 4G and Motorola Droid X to watch recorded HD video from phone to big screen or other HDMI displays.

The cable on today's woot has a Mini-HDMI connector - The Evo 4G requires a cable with a Micro-HDMI connector.

Just purchased the Sanyo VPC-GH2 High Definition Camcorder that was on woot the other day. Would this be a good accessory for that hd camcorder? What would be the benefit of the HDMI cord (plug n play on tv)?

Droid X is same as Evo, it requires a Micro HDMI.

Side note, the only real capability the micro hdmi port allows is viewing your gallery on the tv. It won't output your screen to the tv.

An SD card paired with an HDMI cord. Anyone know what wine goes nicely with this set?

It's an SD card with no info. It's NOT an SDHC card as it should be to be 4GB. It appears to be an early 4GB card from before the SDHC standard was final. Avoid for critical use.

The card could be a little useful to back up something - once - and read it back if necessary - but not trustworthy with modern stuff that wants SDHC or older stuff that knows standard SD up to 2GB but not a nonstandard 4GB SD. In other words, don't trust this card to write/read/delete/reuse.

The cable should be good enough.

Yes it is able to play recorded video on TV through the HDMI port. Can also be connected to a DVD Recorder for easy transfer to a DVD.

tempting. i was going to get a droid x this week and it has mini hdmi out....now if it was a 32GB micro SD i would be in.

Yep. Class 2 = 16 Mbit/s write speed, Class 4/6/10 = 32/48/80 Mbit/s.
