I have a PT-525 (has 110/66 blades) sitting right next to me on my desk, and it's bailed me out of a few jams where I've forgotten blades for my punchdown or needed stuff opened/cut/whatever. The flimsy metal covers on the inside (which turn to outside once the tool is opened) kinda suck, but the opening action is great and the knife and drywall saw are sharp as hell.

You can forget about using this thing to strip wires, and if you're thinking this is a replacement for a standard punchdown for anything more than a few crossconnects you are mistaken. Great to have in a pinch, and for 20 bucks I'd recommend.

Remember, this is the crap they couldn't sell the first time, or found under one of the monkey's cages. It's always the zero wooters that make this comment. For all of you complete new folks, it is so tiresome to see ten percent of the comments during a woot off be "WORST WOOT OFF EVARRRRR". (Most often they are from people with less than 10 woots...)

Those posts are, of course, inevitable as is this post complaining about those posts.

You know, I just downloaded the Wootalyzer app. Never used it before...but honestly it makes these dead-zones in a Woot-off somehow less bearable! You see the little countdown clock and you're like, "Oh...ok...just 20 more minutes...." then it jumps to 56 minutes!!! AGGGGHGHGHGHHGHHG!!!

The thin metal "rails" on the squeezing side of the pliers excludes this from consideration. I've got a couple like that and it HURTS if you try to use the pliers/cutter.

I understand there is a lot on contraversy on what a real Big o' Cosmos is. I was also was here BEFORE Amazon took over. You may want to get your dates straight. Also, I've been here long enough to hear people whine about what's up for sale, yet they have zero woots. You may want to dial back on the "I'm better then you" act. Some people would be offended. Something tells me this is bull. Sog makes fairly quality products. this one was rated poorly on amazon, not that poorly. If something snaps in half when it's loose enough to hand tighten, it sounds to me like you have a fundamental problem with the method in which you try and use a screwdriver.

No it doesnt, last woot off, it was in the middle of the day. They ended with flying monkeys and calendars. This is my second woot off, I even switched work days so i can get some good crap. This one SUCKS. The last woot off, they only have 5 to 10 items per woot. This time there are a bajillion and the item didnt sell before.... ugh. I should have went to work.

I'm no better than anyone else but it is true that Woot today (or the past 2+ years) is not what it was and those of us still here from back then know what a good wootoff is. No need for quality post because I dont post much. Most quality post marks are (earned?)from what anyone that cared would find with a quick Google search. By telling everyone that I found it first by doing that google search and then posting it to me is condecending to those with the brains to do it on there own.

Gets my vote for most useless useful tool ever made. I actually was given one of these and was so excited. Then I found out it did not have a wine cork opener. Then I remembered my Swiss Army knife and was saved.

Actually, for the past couple of woot offs I've seen, they did not signify the end of a woot off. They always ended with the monkeys. I've heard the same from others as well. Maybe they did in the past before I joined but I have not heard of that.
