Sweet! No Elmo! Instead, I got the standard aqua globes, strawberry bag, ear buds, stainless steel water bottle (the straw goes all the way to the bottom), and something most people would think would be quite crappy...

27 unassembled boxes, which in another life would have held leather flip cases for iPhones. I looked at them with amusement, thinking they'd be destined for the recycle bin, but my wife, who's a first grade teacher, was all "hey! I can have the kids make 'aquariums' out of them!" Yup. There's going to be a first grade class with dioramas hanging from the ceiling made out of this crap.

As it always does, the Big o' Cosmos far exceeded my expectations and was still quite crappy. Thanks, Woot!

Reading this thread sometimes makes me want to buy a cat, just so I could put it in a Big o' Cosmos box...

First One of these; here's what I got:

1 Nishika 35mm film 3D camera
3 pack miniature aqua globes
1 Shirt Woot Calendar

Check out Vincent Price marketing this camera. Perhaps he should have been a comedian.

So... this was 1st Bag O' Crap I ever got, and considering how short the list is for most people, I guess I hit the MotherLoad... I was VERY happy with this box of goodness...

Here's what I received...

5.3 lbs of Wootness!

1 X Sequined Purse (No Kidding! A brand new, sealed high fashion sequined clutch... My girlfriend is Ecstatic!)

1 X Small Calculator

2 X Mini Tech Lights with Built in tools

1 X 180s Ear Warmers

1 X Large 2 pack of Aqua Globes (Unbroken!!)

3 X Cellboost 60 minute Cell Chargers

4 X Sensa Ear Buds

3 X Sensa Ipod-ish to USB Cables

1 X Skill Magnetic Screwdriver set with 3 heads

1 X Houdini Tool with light

1 X controller for an RF Helicopter (with no Helicopter... LOL weird!)

1 X AC adapter... (can't figure out for what... strange end...)

1 X Mini Tabletop Tripod

2 X Screaming Flying Monkeys!!!! What a hit with my niece and nephew!

and Finally

1 X Koss KE29R Noise Isolating Earbuds (I LOVE these... they sell for around $20 on Amazon and are already my favorite Earbuds!) (BTW- in a sealed box, with travel pouch and multi eargels for a perfect fit!)

I think thats it, and mine was certainly worth the 8 bucks...

Awesome!

Teachers are not nothing if not resourceful! So glad the boxes ended up at your place where they will actually be put to good use.

statchmoe I think I have the answer to your mystery remote control and ac adapter. My 1.3 Big Orphaned Cetacea came with the standard strawberry bag and a Woot Shirt calendar.

But rattling round in the box was a used rc helicopter. No remote or charger. The battery still had a charge and the running lights lit up.

I can't remember the model or brand name of it right now...I left it at work and it will be Monday before I can check. I had done an extensive web search for matching components but only found one for sale and that was in the Philippines.

It looks like it took a beating...probably at the Woot warehouse. I imagine that the Monkeys had a great time crashing it into the moving fork lifts.

My hat is off to Woot though. Getting something that MIGHT work keeps the fun going for a long time.

This was a true random Big Orphaned Cetacea...it reminded me of the bags I got way back in 2006 - 2009 era, before that high-fallooting '3d Justin Beeber' crap of the twenty 10s.

I know nobody is probably checking this one anymore but wanted to update what I got. Pretty much the same as everyone else.

3 pack mini aqua-globes (which I gave to our department admin for her plants here at the office.)

Strawberry Tote (which I hung on my laptop bag cuz it's cute.)

Woot Calender

Nishika 3d camera

That's it but I still hope to get lucky enough to get another one sometime soon.

No one that won this bag posted about getting a letter. Only 50 or so out of 2500 were here.. Unless they received a pallet full of gold bars and are talking to their lawyers and setting up tax shelters.

I hope all 10 level of winners all talk on one thread. Much easier for us losers to keep track of their crap.

Late to the party. I got:

1 Strawberry Tote
1 Stainless Steel Thermos
1 3 Pack of AquaGlobes
1 Pair of unmarked In-ear Headphones

and a couple of unique items:

1 8GB Touchscreen Polaroid MP3 Player (Open box but works fine)

1 BFC Ink Laptop (Kiddie laptop that I already returned to Walmart for $45 in store credit).

Not a bad haul for my first Barrell Of Catfish...

Forgot to post mine, pretty standard:

1 Pack of intact AquaGlobes
1 Electroman which was put the use the first day but is VERY hard to plug things into for some reason.
1 Strawberry Tote
1 Stainless Steel Thermos
1 set of In-ear Headphones which are actually halfway decent.

Not bad, got my $8 worth

Finally got a bag o crap after years of trying. I was delighted, the whole family gathered around to see what was in it.

1 pair of ear muffs,
2 strawberry bags,
3 aquaglobes,
1 pkg of ink refills for a pen I don't have,

and finally,
1 remote control helicopter that had a note in it explaining that it had been returned because it doesn't fly. Still doesn't fly, but it looks cool and the kids love playing with it. Oh well.

Everyone should have received them by now.

Please have your friend write into service@woot.com with his order information and they will be glad to help him.

I had no idea what a great thing a Big Orphaned Cetacea could be. I was on the phone with my son telling him that I still had not been to bed yet because woot was having a wootoff. He tells me that I need to go to woots anonymous, I told him I am fine I have been looking for the thomas the train talking railway toys for my grandbaby. Then I seen a Big o' Cosmos listed. I told my son that there was a Big Orphaned Cetacea listed. He screamed click on it like you have never clicked before and don't stop until you get it. He tells me that a Big o' Cosmos is the best thing you will ever get on woot and buy 3 of them. I told him good bye and gave it a whirl and I got it. It was so exciting that I could not hardly take it. Now I have a new goal in life. My goal is to see crap on woot every day. I live to see crap. can't wait to start the day off with crap. Is there a support group out there for people like me? Help all I want is crap!!!
