If the software setup is anything like the previous chumby, prepare to have auto-cycling gadgets, including at least one advertisement gadget that you cannot remove; if you try to remove it, another will take its place.

I gave one to my brother as a gift, and we ended up returning it because of this; I had no intention of giving him an alarm clock that happened to be a direct channel for advertisements to his bedroom.

You're better off shelling out for a Sony Dash, which I think doesn't have the ad issue.

Half-price and new? Less than the cost of a referb motherboard and toucscreen (seen when searching for these and sorting by price?

At least it's a regular Woot. I have some time to think about it...hopefully.

There is an app on their website, but according to the reviews it hasn't worked for a while.

Does this companion enjoy long walks on the beach and giving foot massages?

Whoa. Interesting new formatting on the specifications listing.

I got one of these a year ago for Christmas. I played with it for a few days, put it on my nightstand, then just realized from this sale that I haven't touched it since.

It lost it's cool factor quickly, and didn't have much more than that.

This is the first time I've seen the end of a Woot!off live, and I have to say: "where's my Big o' Cosmos?"

That is all.

The Buzzillion reviews aren't looking too awesome.
http://www.buzzillions.com/reviews/chumby-industries-one-internet-alarm-clock-reviews.

Plus, I'm still not sure I'll ever fully get what this thing is.

I do a daily woot blog where I talk about the woot, link to CSEs, find reviews, etc. A few people have told me it's useful. Google "useful linkage" and there it is.

Hmm, there wasn't another Big o' Cosmos at the end I missed was there. Does anyone really very get a Big o' Cosmos, or do they just show the picture and take their servers done, I'm not sure I could have clicked on anything faster...

So sad. So any comments on the chumby, I think I might just put the funds towards and ipad, but internet to replace the bed side clock does sound nice.

In for one. I had an original chumby, and it was very fun to have on my desktop. The Chumby One isn't quite as soft and squishy .. but it has a faster processor and is more practical.
