First thanks for all the help I've seen on both this forum and the XDA one, you are awesome.
Second, I notice you suggest not to use the clockworkmod since it breaks the ota updates, and some of us might want to use that to upgrade later. My questions is there a way to partition using the suggested 2048/0 that doesn't use clockworkmod? It seems if I want to do that, and from a lot posts doing that fixes a bevy of issues, I'd have to use clockworkmod.

Can you please give me your always-clear link. First time flashing gtab, but have done it many times with your PDN ROMs...
There's no structure over in XDA, unfortunately. I am actually just one modder/dev out of many.
My concern however is if the next Viewsonic is 1.2-based (and possibly not compatible with our current mods). If it breaks stuff, I'll post it in General, whenever it's released.

Clockworkmod is kind of a one-way street. Once you mod the device, you've basically put your firmware updates into the hands of the devs/modders in XDA. That's not a bad thing, but you just have to keep that in mind - we are usually pretty fast in ripping apart new stock ROMs and added them to our mods.
If you want to stick with stock, however, you can also manually install new ROMs. We post them also, when the released updates show up: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=842000
BTW TO ALL WOOT USERS HERE. I'm finding it hard to keep up with all the questions, right now. If I miss a question, it's not because I'm ignoring you - I'm trying to toggle this, XDA and my day job and I'm finding it challenging. Quite frankly, there's just too many of you.
If you have an XDA account, you might want to post your questions there, as well. That way, another XDA power user can respond back, if I don't see it.
