So, my # of 7500 is a Hell of a lot closer than yours even when you conveniently exclude Level-10 to make you #'s look better!

What I WAS WRONG about was the idea that this # was the Total Woot# as opposed to the Total Order#, ie. 7471 is NOT to be divided by 3.

Over all, YOU WERE MORE RIGHT about your point than I thought you were but, I'm just being "nit-picky" as you suggested! LOL!

My theory is that the people who the didn't have to play the game, somehow were allowed to buy multiple Big o' Cosmos's. I got one on level one and one on level two, without ever knowing there was a game, and my roommate got one on level 1 without playing as well, and we both were allowed to get one past those levels( levels 4 and 9), but not more then 1.

Here is how mine broke down

Level 1 - got with game
Level 2 - went right through
Level 3 - got with game
Level 4 - "Don't Bogart the Crap" no more crap for me

I can't stop laughing at the thought of open boxes all over the warehouse floor, with the staff up on ladders scattered about, tossing items into the boxes like some sort of goldfish bowl and pingpong ball game at the state fair. Sounds like AWESOME FUN. (The Woot thing, not the goldfish bowl thing.)

I personally imagine a pneumatic cannon like they use at hockey games. This also explains the peculiar damage seen with some of the crap and boxes.

I suspect that bag-o-crap loading is a ongoing project at Woot! They load the boxes up as the crap comes in. When they get enough boxes loaded up and sealed, they make the offer. Then all they have to do is slap address labels on them.

Hey guys, as an aside, how does one know which post he has made has been deemed a quality post? I got my first one recently and I suspect it was my comment in the discussion about XBox hard drives. However, I can't tell for sure. My comment did make that little scrolling comment area on the offer page.

You are correct! I was referencing the unique 1-day woot off at the end of January (the 25th) with crap arrivals in February, which is why I was thinking February. The Point is the same; that is, no letters reported in two straight crap hauls.

My 3 year old little girl had better luck at getting a Big o' Cosmos than I did. It may have only been a level 1, but she still got one while her mom and dad did not. We may be crazy to have gotten her up for it, but she enjoys WOOT!

I don't think so, as the Woot gods seem to have put the kibosh on the multiple BoCs (at least for most people) sometime around level 4. There were a few lucky exceptions. Lucky, evil, HATED EXCEPTIONS WHOM I'D LIKE TO MEET IN A DARK ALLEY WHILST CARRYING A LEAD PIPE (me not them) AND SHOW THEM A...*ahem*

I mean, I certainly had no luck getting a second one, with an admonishment to not bogart the crap.

I got 3 Big o' Cosmos's as well. The first two going straight to the buy page via Wootalyzer, the 3rd by playing the game. I think Woot realized their error right away as it went down for maintenance, not just because of server overload after level two. Starting at level three Wootalyzer was giving me errors and telling me I had to play the game. So I'm guessing that the downtime during level three was reinforcing the rules. After I got my third I got messages opening the game saying no bogarting the crap. I'd be surprised if someone got multiples with levels 3+ on one account.

I have a question about the game, seeing as how I only got to Level 6 on my best effort. Level 1 is the snail on a road, level 2, the snail has wheels on a faster road, level 3 is a snail plane and level 4 is a snail rocket in space. At the end of level 4, I got parachuted down to Level 5, which was just level 1 again. Level 6 was a repeat of Level 2. What happens after that? I can guess 7 and 8...but 9 and 10?

People have been wondering about the possible variance of quality of the Big o' Cosmos's for the different levels. I highly doubt there will be any difference. Not only would they have to do more sorting, but also, it just wouldn't make sense with having equal numbers of Big o' Cosmos's per level. Also, who do you reward? The people that were quick and got them right away, but werent allowed to play the rest of the day? or the people who waited until the end.

If they gave away a decreasing amount per level, i'd say there would be some obvious benefit to being one of the fewer, but that is not the case...

I don't really care though, as I have them coming from 1, 2, and 9 anyway. I am just pumped I actually won some crap.

What is this I keep reading about some people getting their CARP through some "back door link" instead of playing the game or being quick on the draw? I mean, I'm glad that they got a chance to get one, and they only had the Link option because the CARP was available for so long but, isn't that just "Poor Sportsmanship?"

Last year there was both a woot-off baggie and a 1 April baggie in very close proximity. I scored the former, but not the latter.
