Not only was I wrong, but it seems as if woot has shipped out most if not all the craps.

Mine currently says it is 10 pounds. I just went from casual excitement to "HURRY UP FEDEX I WANT MY CRAP!"

Thank you woot for being so awesome!

Well ... got my shipping information like everyone else. Only 1.2 pounds of crap ... apparently Im getting a lot less crap in weight than some of you ... but maybe that means its actually crappier. We'll see

Yes, this question marks me as a Big Orphaned Cetacea first timer, but is it standard for the email to say that it may arrive in more than one shipment?

Not to get my hopes up or anything, but I'd love to get all my calendars in one box, thankyouverymuch.

Ummmm....no.....you would actually PREFER to get your stuff in more than just ONE box, in most cases. I don't recall that ever being spilled in an email in the past, however. Used to be a letter enclosed within the first box that arrived. Then again, it's been a good while since I've followed a Big o' Cosmos thread to the end. Anyone else know about the email comment janadian got??? Might we already need to dole out congratulatory envy???

May the Crap be with you all!!!

My e-mail says the same thing... "Your order may contain multiple packages that arrive on different days. If you don't receive your entire order at the same time, please wait a couple of days after you receive your first package before contacting us"

Is that not normal?

I've been busy with other things lately and haven't been checking this forum much.

I logged on and there were like 80 more pages than I had seen last, so I figured SOMETHING awesome happened.

In this case the awesome was threepiecewoot. I do not know how it was possible to ship 7,500 craps in 5 days. I guess woot only hires the best!

Well, just got my shipping. I got one Level 2 $unknown on its way.
Status:
Weight: 6.9 lbs
Dimension: $NULL
ETA: 4/13/2011
Anticipation level: Moderate
Prediction: Not a vacuum cleaner.
Most desired item: Some sort of yellow paper with a Woot style exclamation mark on it. Or a pony. A little pony. Hopefully Applejack.
Wait, what was I talking about here?

yeah, I knew the second box letter was a big deal, which is why I figured the clause in my email was standard. It's non-committal too: "Your order may contain multiple packages that arrive on different days."

this kind of weight range is sort of unusual, isn't it?

so does mine?

do you have to do anything specific or go to a different website outside of the fedex tracking link in the email to get the box dimensions?

--- Janadian, I got the same and my package is gonna be 8.5lbs level 8.

I am pretty sure the heavy woots are the wood cooking planks... Not a bad woot, but not a TV either. I look it at this way, I paid 8 dollars, and getting 8.5 lbs of stuff, unless I am getting a box of calendars I should be happy with it whatever it may be. Looking forward to my heavy bÂg 0f crÂp

I'm positive. It says nothing of the sort.

Maybe it's because all that IS in my measly single box is the letter and one or two other crappy things. Hey, one can dream....

whelp, looks like a universal thing. Mine was level 7. Maybe they just include that multiple shipments clause to cover their bases, you know...in case a leakfrog wriggles out of the first box and hijacks a second.

It could happen.

On my email the multiple package statement is right below this one:

Fedex Smartpost shipments originate with Fedex but are delivered by the United States Postal Service.

Is your package shipping via smartpost?

Please move to the Level 10 to talk about your crap. It would be great for 1-9 to move to 10 to talk, compare and brag....

It would be a great for all of us who were unworthy to read it all in one place..

Checked with the receipt page manually with a tracking number, but nothing in FedEx. Seeing the goodies in the deliveries so far - I'm excited for my first Big o' Cosmos since Christmas 2008. I've had GREAT CRAPS and really CRAPPY CRAPS - so it's all fun for me. It's like going to a junk auction and tossing a bid for $8 for a box that you can't open and can't touch. Sometimes it is GREAT - sometimes it is CRAP.
