I'd like to make a suggestion on future Big o' Cosmos items, or maybe even an item for sale. I would like a Woot travel mug. It only has to have Woot! in black letters (depending on the background) Although if they managed to get the design they have on the small boxes, onto a travel mug, I'd pay good money for that. What do you think?

I love the ceramic mugs with the kind of rubber pop on top, but I think I like the stainless steel ones better. They're not as heavy, and I always have a fear of the pop on tops coming off.

I have a bunch of the ceramic ones I got from TJMaxx. They have some really pretty designs on them. I've never had a problem with the top, but I check the lid to make sure it's on all the way and that there are no bumps around the rim where the lid is not secure. I do like the stainless steel ones for the same reasons you do. I prefer a screw on top because the ones with a push on have a rubber seal that gets destroyed over time and then it starts to leak.

So I got my 7.4 pound Level 4 sack today.

It started with 29 Delphi Roady XM radio tuners and two antennas. I have no idea what i'm going to do with these. They didn't come with a charger, and none of them turn on.

My 4.3lb Level 6 box arrived the other day, though I didn't get around to posting about it until tonight. This was the first bag I've managed to snag in my years of Wooting, and it seems to have been relatively unique, with some items I haven't seen reported by others yet...



The box did come mostly pre-opened, but I'm assuming that was simply a side-effect of the orbital snail-cannon delivery, and that nothing was pilfered and/or destroyed by bomb squad. A cat would have been in the final photo, since he came to inspect the box, but I managed to fill the memory card moments before. Anyway, here's a textual summary of contents...

2x Philips home electronics surge protectors
1x Ear warmers with built-in headphones
1x iBlink light-up earbuds
1x Core Balance silicone wristband
1x Digital thermometer
1x Favorite bedtime songs
1x Camp Rock 3M adhesive hook
1x NASCAR #88 keychain
1x Floral print recycled tote
21x Bags of Texas air (mint)

The ear warmers came in a plastic box, but are otherwise completely unlabeled. They look identical to 180s Keystones, aside from being red and lacking labels. The sound quality of the built-in headphones is surprisingly pretty good, and they come with a detachable black and white woven cord with inline volume control.

The surge protectors are the outlet-mounted ones seen on Woot some months ago. I've tested one out, and it seems to work well and looks rather nice. There's always room for surge protectors.

The flashing earbuds look cool in action, but they do need their volume turned up rather high for one to "see the sound". I might try modifying them to see if something can be done to improve that. Their sound quality is about what you'd expect from lower-cost earbuds, but they are shiny, so I guess that might make up for any deficiencies regarding their primary function. : )

Overall, this crap was was quite nice. Much better than getting a 2010 calendar and flattened thimble. Thanks Woot!

I recorded my unboxing video for the masses. At 2.1 pounds, it wasn't that great of a haul, but I can't complain, the monkey keychain is pretty cool
