I tried posting this yesterday, but it looks as though it didn't take (hope its not a double post).

Got the 4th Level Bag, and got the notice of shipment pretty quick. FedEx reported it as 2.4lbs, so I figured it was pretty much like what most have posted. It arrived today, April 15, as a crate (pallet), which was a heck of a lot more than 2.4lbs.

7x Ultimotion Swing Zone Sports Games
16x Franklin Covey Priorities Premium Leather Notepads (8 boxes w/2 in each)
262x LeakFrogs (looks like 22 cases w/6 boxes in each, each w/2 LeakFrogs, but 1 case was missing one) (ironic since the average summer temp here is above 110)
4x Nutrition Label Scales
1x Kalorik Grill
1x iRhythma Digital Docking Speaker for iPod
4x Midland VOX GRMS Walki-Talkies (2 packs of 2 walkie-talkies)
1x Nishika 35mm 3-D Film Camera
1x Targus Netbook Chill Mat
1x Power Adaptor for something (?)
1x HDMI 6' Cable with 4GB SD Card
1x Motorola Motonav 3.5" GPS
1x Ethereal iXpand 3G Spare Battery for iPhone 3GS/3G or iPod Touch 2G
1x Discovery Kids Ultimate Tools Metal Detector
1x Presorvac Marinater
1x Chef's Coice Edge Select Knife Sharpener
2x Pandigital Photolink One-Touch Scanner for Photos
1x Tens Back Pain Relief System (which I need after moving all this stuff)
2x Philips HDMI 4' Cables
1x Box of 3 Aqua Globes Mini watering bulbs
3/4x Cy-Fi Wireless Speaker (I received the Power Supply, Manual, and Charge Base, but no speaker)
1x First Act 5-Pad Digital Drum Set (missing the Base Drum Foot Pedal)
1x Strawberry 16" collapsable Tote Bag
1x Nvizo Pen Refill Kit
3x Franklin Covey Genuine Leather Planner Starter Set
1x Franklin Covey Planner (I think)
7x Woot 2011 Calendars
1x Ripstik Caster Board (like a skateboard, but seems to be for those that like hospital food)
1x ART 101 Crayon
1x Woot "?" Bag with a note from threepiecewoot (Thanks for the personal touch).

All of this for a whopping $8.00. Heck, I even thought about going out and buying a lottery ticket, but then forgot all about it on the way home. Probably just missed being the newest millionaire, but who cares?!?! - I won on WOOT! Since I teach, most of this will go to the kids. I'll probably keep one of the Leather Notepads, the Chef's Choice sharpener, one of the photo scanners, and perhaps the Kalorik Grill. Oh, and I'll probably keep the Woot ? Bag just for the memories.

Hopefully, next time one of you will be the lucky ones.

I got a level 4 Big o' Cosmos and once I got my tracking info it was only listed at 1.3 lbs. Seeing how I was kinda bummed I didn't let it worry me...until I received a phone call from fedex frieght stating that on Monday April 18th I will be receiving a PALLET of 296 lbs of something. It's a safe assumption that this might be the heaviest Big o' Cosmos from this latest woot. I will keep everyone updated but I wonder what could it be??

Just picked up my 7.4 lbs Level 1 Crap from the post office this morning. Here's what I got:

1 SpinDock Laptop Swivel Station.
1 black and white bag.
1 pair of knock-off Adidas sport sandals (size 1).
2 Woot! Cedar Grilling Planks pack of 6.
1 Barbie knock off "Happy Mobile Phone" that looks slightly used, makes horribly loud telephone noises and speaks in a foreign language.

Some very unique items this time around... Thanks Woot!

Woot has really outdone themselves this time. I received:

4x unknown AC/DC converters, 12v 1500mA

1x Delphi RoadyXT xm radio, no power cord, no dock

1x XM SureConnect Vehicle Installation Kit

61x (yes, sixty-one) XM satellite radio antennae

71x (yes, seventy-one) sticky mounts for the same unknown product (I'll have to go back through the forum and see if anyone's already figured that one out, it looks like maybe one of those holders for people who like to wear their cellphone outside their pockets would fit on it)

1x 8-pack of Colgate wisps, plus the display rack that's meant to hold 6 of them

.225x BlockNRoll starter set (it's supposed to have 40 pc, but they simplified it to 9)

1x A sweet pair of portable sony speakers (that require an outlet, but at least they came with a power cord

aaaaaaaaaaannd

2! count em 2 bags. One Woot ? paper bag, and a golds' gym nylon drawstring bag.

By my count, I got 142.225 items in my box! Hooray!

Anyone need any crap?

My replacement Level 2 Crap arrived today. Here's the combined content with approximate values:

The Bags:
Striped RPET Recycled Bag (about $1.00)
Padded Manilla Envelope, empty ($0.50)

The Craps:
1x Franklin Covey Note Pad, Red ($12.49)
1x Emerson Jumbo Remote ($9.99 according to the big sticker on it)
3x Mobi Earphonies Striker ($16.49 x 3)
2x 6 pak Woot! Cedar Grilling Planks (2 for 14.99)
2x Tripodguru Tabletop Tripod (2 for $4.99)

The Texas Air:
One strip with 19 pods, one empty
One strip with 11 pods, 5 empty

The Boxes:
2x Cardboard cat playhouses for Luna, one blank, one with Woot! logo

The manilla envelope did not have a letter hidden in it.

The jumbo remote's package was obviously opened and taped shut. It was probably returned because the LED was mispositioned, so it only functioned if you pointed the remote about 4 feet to the right of the TV. I opened it and straightened it a bit, now it works better, but not perfectly.

The cedar planks are going to be used in clothing storage, not for cooking.

The other items may be useful, if not they will be donated to various charities or thrift stores.

Total theoretic value of these things: $93.43, if for some bizarre reason I wanted to purchase them.

1 USB Circus Cannon. This is kind of exciting.
1 empty padded mailer (must be my bag - well played, woot!)

Great idea! There used to be a thread specifically dedicated to requesting items for Woot to offer. I'll see if i can find the link to it and post it for you. Your suggestion is likely to just be overlooked in a long, convoluted, merged thread like this one has turned into.

Contempt or content?

In either case, I have to wonder why did you ask for a "replacement" when your first box already came with a bag and 8 crappy items (actually 9, if there was a booklight in the snuggie like everyone else got)??? That's certainly way more than the 3 minimum craps that were promised.

There are people who were legitimately shorted craps. I sure wish people wouldn't take advantage of Woot and ask for more even when they already received what they ordered and paid for. That's just poor wootsmanship, imo.

By your logic (if you whined that the 8 individual cables constituted a "single" crappy item) I could say that my 2 pkgs of grilling planks and 2 earmuffs and 1 bag counted as only 2 items and the bag. But that wouldn't be right....I got FOUR items plus my bag. I've been a Woot customer long enough that I appreciate them and refuse to take advantage of them like that....but maybe that's just me. *shrug* <---(That was a rhetorical comment, as I've seen many other people on this thread play fair and be content with their original Big o' Cosmos when it contained 3 items, even if those 3 items all happened to be the same.)

Sorry, but that's just greediness on your part to even ask. You are definitely owed a crap on your first Big o' Cosmos, but your second one had MORE craps than what the Commandments promise. 7 cables = 7 separate items. (Sansa doesn't sell them in pkgs of 7.) Woot is a good company. If people keep doing this, they'll only end up raising their prices, shipping rates, and doing other things that so many stores end up doing when their customers don't appreciate their generosity and customer service. Hell, if I were them, I'd even be tempted to discontinue offering BOCs altogether after this. JMHO.

Do whatever your conscience tells you to, but as a fellow Wooter, I would ask you to reconsider asking for more crap on that second bag. Thanks!

I have always had a weak spot for engineers....so I'll overlook your grammar.

But I thought engineers could COUNT? LOL!

I can sorta understand why you asked, but still feel that way too many people are taking advantage of Woot's good nature. Did you ask here in the forums first (which it clearly says to do before emailing service.woot)?

I say that because it has always been very common for BOCs to contain large numbers of single items....and they have ALWAYS counted as individual craps. I can't imagine the brouhaha that would have occurred during the mass Sansa BOCs where people got nothing but a bag and like, 37, Sansas. I don't recall anyone asking if those 37 Sansas counted as a single crap. Most were thrilled.

I was throwing a little sarcasm your way... It was nice to see someone who ~immediately~ recognized two packs as two craps, not twelve... I used a bucky balls analogy with him.
